this is great in theory, it is a fan, but not what i thought it was. basically the belt straps and shirt clip work, however if you have “boulders” this only will fan the underside of them and that’s really it, fan even at highest setting is like a small breeze on a 100 plus degree summer day. i have used this twice, thought maybe i was just not placing it right. i was wrong. if you clip it on your shirt it is flimsy because it’s too heavy to stay on most fabrics. the strap can be useful but it depends on the size of your chest. so again doesn’t get where you need it to go. under the shirt is just a waste i think my feet got most of the fan and not in a good way. did it help? no! did it just make me uncomfortable because i sound like a broken down car that’s trying to start yes! it was also louder than anticipated, people would ask if it worked and my reply was simply you are better off using paper in your hand and fanning yourself. using it out doors just made things worse it’s like the hot air was trapped in there. indoors seemed to feel like you are using your hand to fan yourself. i don’t know how else to say no thanks. maybe it’s the design or maybe it’s being a woman with curves i’m not sure. but i had one of the guys test it and they said the same. i’d say skip this and go to dollar tree and get you one of those that you carry around they seem to work better. i just need my hands and didn’t want to worry about looking like a cherry tomato that was freshly watered. oh the button is hard to get to, it’s narrow and in there so fumbling around with it is kinda annoying. when charging it doesn’t tell you how full it is so you are just guessing. the battery life seems ideal i used it on one charge for about 5 hours. and its appearance is bulky, bigger than i anticipated which is fine but only if it worked.
i work 10 hour days. the only setting that lasts that long is 2/4. and it is underpowered no matter the setting you have it on.it's much smaller than expected. i guess blame me for not looking at product dimensions, but it is overall really disappointing. the clips are not strong, and so your shirt pulls out of it every time you move even a little bit.i often checked to see if it was on because i couldn't really tell.there is a 2 fan one from another brand on the marketplace. i don't think i am allowed to link it in this review, but i just got it in today, and it is a night and day difference. it has 10 speeds, 20,000mah battery, and at 5/10 speed absolutely blows this one on max out of the water. it has super strong clips. if you're looking for something to really help cool ya down while doing outdoor work, spring for the more expensive one that i'm referencing. it even has usb out to charge a device from and a kickstand to turn it into a tabletop fan. very happy with that purchase. very disappointed in this product.
i bought the 2024 ai portable fan rechargeable, expecting a powerful and convenient fan for outdoor use during the summer heat (around 100 degrees). unfortunately, this product was a total letdown. first of all, there’s no ai involved—it's just a gimmick in the name for marketing purposes.the fan has 4 speeds, but even at the highest setting, i could barely feel any airflow. i tried using it directly on my face, and it was ineffective. then, i followed the instructions and placed it on my waist under my shirt, as illustrated, but again, it was practically useless. i didn’t feel any relief from the fan at all, even in such high temperatures.completely disappointed, i ended up returning the item and thankfully got my money back. if you're considering buying this, do yourself a favor and stay away. it’s not worth the time or the money.
i bought this product because my boyfriend works in a shop where it’s well over 100°. the $6.99 shipping didn’t matter because i thought i was gonna get a product that would help him make it through a 10 hour day.unfortunately, that’s not what i got. the machine has four different levels. and i could truly could only see this product helping if you were in any lower of heat then 80°.to top my disappointment of the product, the neck piece wasn’t even included. truly do not waste your money on this product, instead just go buy a cooling towel from walmart. will be returning.
1. not good for inside your shirt. it suffocates very easily due to lack of airflow at the base. a ported housing could solve this.2. very loud, has a high pitched whining noise3. not powerful at all. cheaper brands ive seen have much more airflow4. very big and bulky5. cheaper options available pros:1. battery life is good, 4-5hrs at high speed
the fan does not blow a whole lot of air at all.and the battery only last about 5 hours far from the specs that i seen when i were selling.it said it would last 24 hours. but nothing close to that in the way it looked on there like it was blowing out a lot of air it does not. i would not buy this if i were you. i would go with a different brand
it doesn't stay on your pants. it also has a horrifying sound that makes me not want to put it on a high setting.what a waste of money.....do not buy this fan. do more research and try products in store....that's what i wish i could say people can do on amazon....but they review this product with 5 stars like nothing is wrong. what in the heck!!!!
i gave it a one star review because the fan does not push out a volume of air that i expected for the description. this fan might keep you a little more cool but when it is 90 or 100 degrees outside you are going to be sweating bullets. i was searching for a 10000mah fan and this was in the search so i assumed that it was the same battery size . wrong.
the product is alright. i mean it's a plastic clip-on waist fan. i do wish there was one more (higher) fan setting. the top fan speed setting if fine but if it went a notch higher it would be an awesome product. this fan blowing cool air up your shirt while working outside is a game changer. it takes a blistering hot summer day where you'd constantly be sweating and almost makes it feel like a hotter beginning of spring day. for that, it's awesome, but i want it blowing air up my back/spine, that's the real focal point to lower body temperature. much like how electric heated wet suits have heating elements along the spine, you want to control the temperature of your central nervous system and the rest of you will feel fine. but, when i clip this around my back belt loop, although the device doesn't fall off my waist, the shirt clip has no tensioning. it's a plastic molded clip with sub-par tension. so whenever i have to bend over to pick something up my shirt slips out and i have to re-clip it nonstop. i just started duct taping my shirt to the device because it's so annoying. oppositely, if i wear a bigger shirt, it still pops out and the overhanging fabric gets sucked to the bottom of it, muffling the fan until re-adjustment. i suppose i'm just going to start wearing it on my hip or frontside but the device is too bulky on those areas when working. i'll knock it off my hip nonstop. this product is a new idea but an absolute game-changer. i can't wait for further iterations of it down the line.
nice little fan. i’m a sucker for a product that can keep me cool and comfortable at my kids baseball and softball games. this fan is a good size bc it fits easily in your bag, it’s lightweight, and rechargeable. but what i failed to think through, when i’m sitting at my kid’s game my lap blocks the inflow of air coming into the fan. so it’s not able to pull in cooler air to the fan to blow out and onto my skin. this design would really only be effective if you’re standing or walking.
the concept of this is good, the idea of a personal fan is good but you have to be so careful not to catch it and let it fall off because the mechanism that holds the fan will come apart. if you hook it on your belt - which it is made for - and have it blow right in your shirt, you can't forget it is there or pull on your shirt because it will fall off. a stronger hook mechanism might be the answer. you also have to be careful not to let your shirt cover the bottom of the fan because it will block the air flow so you have to tuck your shirt in the outside hook to keep it from blocking the air. and again, that isn't a very strong hook either so your shirt falls out of it. i used in a commercial kitchen to stay cool. airflow is good when it isn't blocked but if you're moving around too much, the odds of it falling off are very good. so i liked it when it was working but it's kind of high maintenance to protect it.
we bought these for use when working on our food truck which gets extremely hot. i like that it had clips which allowed us to attach the fan to our shirts while still being able to serve customers. however, i guess we chose the wrong wattage because the force of air was not strong enough to keep us cool. it did the job when we opened the freezer and the cool air was sucked through the fan and blown on us. the moments we could do this were far and in between though.
as a 130ib landscaper living in texas, i can honestly say this thing isn't enough.it's probably best for sitting outside at sports events or cooling down soup.
always wanted to try a belt fan. it’s okay. was able to select varying speeds for air flow, but ultimately found the air didn’t circulate as much as i thought throughout my shirt. instead, i found it concentrated primarily on one spot.
used this on our trip to italy.pros:- looks nice- easily carried around- good battery lifecons:- it barely blows any air on 1 and 2. 3 and 4 are better, but you’ll still need to fan manually around your face/body or it won’t work.- to get it fully charged takes a long time, no matter if you plug it into the wall or a usb outlet. however, charging after every use has worked so far to keep it going. had to return, will try a neck fan that wraps around your neck.
i thought that the fan would have more power. it does have four settings but even on the highest setting it's really not strong enough to make a difference.
