our first sereed bike was a champ - could be used indoors and even on rough backyard terrain outdoors. our second one was a dud - it was only gently used indoors but something came off on the wheel and we can’t find a way to put the wheels back. customer support is non existent. we received both as a gift so we can’t return it.
it works fine, but it is very cheap quality. i expected something more sturdy for $40. lot of plastic. also could have a wider wheel base. tips over easily.
just didn’t seem that great. been sitting on a shelf for sometime now because i don’t have tools to put it back together.just didn’t last long and keeps falling apart.
my 15 month old got this for christmas and loved it. it was an indoor toy (we have hardwood on our first floor) and before we knew it, she was riding around just loving life. we took it out on the sidewalk maybe 5 times? well last week, she is riding it down a long hallway inside (shes now 19 months and very well versed on this bike!) while i'm cooking dinner and bam she makes a turn and a back wheel comes flying off, she tumbles to the ground (totally fine but scared + crying, rebounded quickly no worries). wtf? my husband, an engineer, is trying to put the wheel back on but it's not working. i looked and saw some other reviewers had a similar issue. shouldn't do this after only a few months of light use - hopefully the company can make it right!
size is smaller than anticipated . but it is good quality material , somewhat easy to install . won’t be able to take it apart though. glides smoothly .
my granddaughters feet kept getting caught in the front wheel... i think it would have been better if the front wheels were either narrower or wider. it's just wide enough for her toes/feet to get caught easily. she is 1.5 years old. maybe she was too young/small?
it’s awkwards to assemble. they say it’s only 4 pieces that snap in. that’s true. but what that means is - to connect two parts you have to press in 2 tiny balls into a tight fitting hole. i don’t think a man’s finger can do it the space available on each side is less than a quarter inch.i pressed in the the spring balls with adjustable pliers. got one side in and then used a small flat head screw driver. took a lot of tries. you got to get this right so the bike doesn’t collapse. the assembly is difficult. i have a family of carpenters, plumbers, electricians. they agreed.
the seat was way to narrow and slippery for a 18 month old to use. every time he would get on, he would slip right off and sitting was very ideal since the seat was so narrow.
i bought this for my 18 month old. the back wheels hit his feet every time he tries to push off, slowing him down and stopping his momentum. he usually just gives up. maybe when his legs get longer it will be better for him.
my son is tall-ish for his age but at 1 yr old it already seemed a little small for him.he wasn’t all that interested until 18 months at which point it was way too small. if your child is on the shorter height for age and is walking early it’s probably perfect. but if they are taller i would go with another brand. quality was fine and it’s sturdy and cute, we just had no use for it due to our toddler being tall.
not safe, my son plaid with this in occasion in out house and after a month the rear wheel fell off exposing tiny chokeable parts. when i looked at thr wheel there appears to be a screw at the end that goes into the bar but somehow it was sideways and could no longer connect to thr bar.
we got this bike for my son’s 1st birthday. it took him awhile to really get into it, but lately had been his favorite toy. he loved riding this bike and it was great for him. however, there is a single screw holding these two pieces together. it fell out causing it to come apart while he was on it and he hit his head on the handlebars as he fell.we tried to replace the screw, but it came loose again.we worry about it happening to him again if he tries to ride it, so we will avoid using now. super bummed because he loved it and was getting so comfortable riding it :( wish this design feature was different.
