this product is underwhelming. was excited to try it it looks nice, but it is so slow and barely makes any ice. very tedious and not worth the time orspace it takes up. i returned it!
it'll make ice, however you need to empty the tray after each time it makes ice. it is very wet ice so when placed in the freezer, it just freezes together. if kept in the ice machine it'll melt because the inside of the ice machine isn't cold. it would work best if used for glasses as it was being made.
if you like your ice pre-melted buy this quickly, you'll love this one. takes awhile to get going and each time i get sloppy wet ice. once i get it into my ice box i then have the pleasure of chipping away at it. because it all melts into itself in the freezer creating a giant ice block.
it’s great until it starts to get gross and there’s no way to clean it. i had to take it completely apart and there are still places i can’t clean because it’s glued together in places. absolutely disgusting. had to toss it buy a new (different) one
we were so sad when our old counter top ice maker died after 2 years, but we’re excited to see so many positive reviews about this ice maker. we loved it at first, but after 1 month it started making less and less ice. we followed all recommendations from the troubleshooting page, but nothing worked and after only 1.5 months it is basically useless. we will not order another one and will go back to our old ice maker brand.
we hoped to use it for in store events at a retail shop. the small ice tray only holds enough ice to fill 2 glasses.it will make more ice but there’s about 15 mins of time to make enough for the next glass.we tried moving the ice to a freezer as well but it freezes together into one big chunk.overall this is just for at home. however for at home it is noisy and gets more noisy over time as parts get dusty and used.pros: ice starts in 6 mins then you’ll have enough ice for a glass in 20 mins from start. it makes small crushed ice that is easy to chew. it also doesn’t need cleaned too often.con’s: it’s noisy machine. it’s slow to make ice and won’t keep up with demand of a dinner party or any guests.overall it’s more for personal use if you’re just tired of making ice manually.
this made ice as promised but melts so fast. if you add water from the faucet to a cup of ice, it completely melts in minutes. i wound up sending it back. however, if you like ice you can immediately chew, you would be happy with the model!
i love the color and machine, however it did get a little noises over time as well as it stopped working one day outside of the date to return. it lasted about 2 yrs.
i've been having this machine running since january and i've had no issues until recently the water turned brown and then i noticed a streak on the inside of the unit. i don't use this often enough to notice it immediately, but the little arm that moves the tray is rusting.
