upon receiving this and reviewing the instruction manual i could tell this was not the right product for me. it requires being used ev so often to keep the battery functioning and that’s a hassle. also, it does not offer very much power. having just gone thru hurr. beryl and no lights i can tell i need something more powerful. it’s inexpensive and that’s good. but just not enuf ooomph for me and what we need. i will be returning this for something else.
the power bank itself worked fine and charged quickly via a/c power or from a d/c source (e.g. cigarette lighter/charger connection in a vehicle). however, the solar panels never really provided a charge. i left it out in direct sunlight for 48 hours and it only charged about half a bar. i did not try to run anything directly off the solar panel (aka charge a phone). i was hoping this would be good for when i go off road / off grid, as well as helpful for power outages. but, it was a not go and i returned it.
i've had the machine for 2 weeks now. i haven't used it yet because i don't know how. the instructions are the worse ever. i can't use it at all. i've asked for better instructions, but i have not heard back from them. i'm thinking of returning it for a refund. i paid for it, can't use it, so why keep it?
not quite enough battery for an extended camping trip. i took this for a three-night camping trip, and after the first night, the battery was almost dead. i tried to use the solar to charge it, and after almost 6 hours in the sun, i got only one bar (not sure of the percentage) of charge. it does power my cpap machine, but if i can't recharge it with solar, then it's not worth the price i paid. i followed the user manual but with no success. i will be returning this product and getting a larger and, unfortunately, more expensive one for future trips.
