well for a person like myself who don’t know nothing about solar power it’s ok...lot of information but i was looking for something more straight forward..for example, if you buy 2 solar panels, inverter and battery it will give you this amount of electricity and so on...so for me it didn’t work.
so some good information. not really any up to date info, in my opinion with a 2022 copyright date, on the newer hybrid systems. allot of technical info on solar cells, wiring, batteries, etc, but most of the info as far as completed or integrated home systems is not there or minimal. for example, one of the biggest concerns a homeowner might have is how to actually hook up a solar system into the existing power company breaker box......transfer switch ? sub panel critical load panel? or direct existing panel hook up.
nothing simple about any of this book. full of equations you need a degree from mit to beginner to understand. i wanted help building a small of grid power source. book is more about how to calculate this and that and how to build a small power grid not design and wire a whole house. they have professional for that as it should be. don’t waste your money
simple explanations to start then it becomes tiring to read through the detailed filled pages with bland drawings. go to y. t. and watch this young dude explain it all diy solar power...
