these mics were very directional, however, the clips did not allow for adjusting direction very well. very susceptible to head movement. we returned and are much happier with a different similar priced brand that we kept
sound good enough volume is a little low not a big concern though quality isnt too bad for a $22 dollar wireless microphone it has a good range omnidirectional and it can hear whisper too which overall is good for making videos the only thing bad about this microphone is that it doesn't have a good noise cancellation and i cant figure out how to adjust this microphone not sure it just pre adjusted by manufacturer but overall good microphone
wow, okay, so i've owned a few of the iphone lavalier microphone sets in the past, and one thing that i've come to expect is charging cases. this unit does not have one. it comes with:2x microphones with usb-c connectors for charging1x usb-c charging cable (no brick included)1x manual2x clips for the microphones1x cheap plastic and cardboard packagingthat's it. so, if you want to charge these at the same time, you'll need to get a second cable, and come up with two usb-c charging bricks.all of the other iphone wireless microphone sets have come with a drop-in case, where you charge the case battery, and the case charges the microphones when they're in the case. that's the ideal situation.the only reason why i purchased this set of wireless microphones in the first place, is because apple switched out the iphone's charging port from the lightning cable to the usb-c. so that makes all of my current wireless microphones obsolete.i was sad to see that, for $4 more, you can get a model with a full-on charging case.this company either needs to include a charging case, or they need to back-off on their pricing. not worth the price at all.having tested the microphones, they work fairly well...but...they're so small and easy to lose, it makes no sense for me to keep these, when i can get one with a charging case for a few dollars more.hopefully i can save you the time of purchasing these, being disappointed, and returning them.
they work pretty well, they’ll isolate just your voice and take away a good amount of background noise. good for live streams, interviews and recording vlogs. not so much for asmr videos.
i got these to do reviews online. while they do work i found the sound to be actually better with just my iphone mic. maybesta mic was tinny and a little distorted. for the price i wouldn't complain or send them back. however i doubt i will be using these anytime soon.
this was a decent mic for making social media videos inexpensively, but the sound pickup was directional and highly susceptible to rustling fabric when clipped to a lapel, which defeats the purpose of a clip-on mic. i had to clip it to an object with a stem and hold it like a stage mic. after a charging session this week, it wouldn't start up again. after little over a year of use. you get what you pay for. i make content more regularly now, so i'm leveling up to something like a rode or a dji mic.
