labeled a few things for back to school- seems as though anything that gets wet labels don’t stick and ink does fade off. disappointed. would use only for dry items. no laundry, dishwasher, stuff that needs to be wiped down.
complicated to use. flimsy. wouldn't pair with the app. sent it back. for about $10 more i bought a brother p-touch label maker at sam's club, and it's fantastic. high quality and does a lot. don't waste your money.
the print quality is okay and it has alot of customization options on the app. it jams alot though which is a waste of paper, i figured out i have to hold my finger over the slot you put the paper in and kinda push it in to keep it from jamming so much. the labels are a little small too but you can adjust the font size.
i wanted to make labels for my medicine containers. after 2 hours of trying to read instructions figuring out what it meant, i called my grandson. he was done in less than 10 mins. i still have no idea how to use it , i will give the label maker to him the first time he wants to borrow it. there has to be something easier for us ‘old people”.
this little printer did a great job for the first few months. now the label is catching in the printer, so some of the characters, including spaces, do not get printed, and i have to reprint several times. that is a huge waste of the label paper, which is an additional cost. i will look for a different printer since this one is not working. i reached out to customer support via the supvan app and never heard back. i use the label maker for labels for my house plants and propagations, and now i will have to buy another one since this one is a gigantic money suck.
this label maker is not easy to use. vague instructions. and by downloading the app, they can obtain personal information. sending it back and buying a more popular brand that doesn't require an app to use.
not only was this not what i was expecting but the ap has so many options that it is just a pain to use. i’m not impressed and because i had it open and tried printing some labels i couldn’t return it.
how to use this thing is trail and error , no directions on exactly how to use it other then putting it together.. wish the tape was perforated down the middle .. lots and lots of practice
spent too much time trying to get device connected to bluetooth. my iphone said, device not supported i researched other customers issues to see how they resolved it. turn on location services was one suggestion. did that. didn't work. reached out to customer service through app and waited 24 hours to get response. i tried their suggestion. didn't work. shouldn't be this hard so am returning.
it keeps telling me there is no tape in it, but there is. very annoying, it also wastes a lot of tape! i have my phone bluetooth directly connected to my supvan e10 and it still won't print and it's right in front of it.i would return it if i could, but i missed my window of opportunity, so i guess i'm stuck with it.
the terms of the software app were written in broken english with some onerous terms. i am not a lawyer but read an and manage contracts daily. i put the terms thru an llm, response below.use at your own risk. i will be returning mine and buying a label maker with built-in keyboard.++++this user agreement from shenzhen supvan information co., ltd. contains several terms that could be considered onerous or require close attention:1. **extensive data collection**: the agreement allows the app to collect a wide range of personal information, including geolocation, device identifiers, and potentially sensitive information. the app also has the right to link this data with other devices and services, and to perform big data analysis and share non-identifiable information with third parties. this could lead to concerns about privacy and data security.2. **broad usage of data**: the agreement states that your data can be used for purposes beyond the original intent, and you may not be explicitly notified of these changes unless they are significant. this could mean your data might be used in ways you did not initially agree to.3. **third-party services**: the agreement makes it clear that third-party services integrated into the app may collect and use your data according to their own policies, which might not align with the terms of this agreement. this could expose your data to additional risks.4. **data sharing and transfer**: the agreement allows for the sharing and transfer of your data under several conditions, including mergers, sales, and legal obligations. there is also a provision that allows the sharing of de-identified data, which could still be risky if the de-identification process is not robust.5. **limited liability**: the disclaimer section limits the company’s liability in several cases, including data breaches resulting from your own actions, third-party services, or force majeure events. this could leave you with little recourse in the event of a data breach or other issue.6. **complex opt-out/deletion process**: while the agreement allows you to request the deletion of your data, it also provides many exceptions where the company may refuse to comply with your request. this could make it difficult for you to fully exercise your rights over your personal information.7. **data storage location**: your data will be stored on servers located in china. depending on your jurisdiction, this could raise concerns about the legal protections and governmental access to your data.given these points, you should carefully consider whether you are comfortable with the extent of data collection, usage, and sharing described in the agreement. if you have any specific concerns, it may be wise to seek legal advice before accepting the terms.
the printer works pretty well and is nice and cheap. i bought this so i could easily and neatly label all the wires on an electrical project i was doing. the tape doesn’t stick well at all. i kept trying to restick labels, but they’d always come unstuck. eventually, i had to wrap them all with scotch tape. kindof defeats the point of making neat labels. maybe it would be better with a better quality tape, but i don’t think i’ll be using this enough to replace the roll. i’m basically unsatisfied.
haven't even been able to use it. the app required has horrible reviews. apparently it needs almost every permission possible just to use it. one person even saying they got a burner phone just to use it. terrified to get the app and mess up my phone. wish i would have looked into it more before buying. guess you can't just go off reviews on here.
took some fiddling around to get a label format i liked and figure out how to connect it every time i want to print, but just looked to order more label tape, and find either “currently unavailable “ or a one to two month wait. wish i had just ordered the brother one. i may have to yet, and just write this off to a bad investment.
it’s more for labeling than anything else. i was able to print a few pictures but the issue for me was in the coloring.still figuring out a few things as there are many many features. works good overall and i think it was worth the moneyupdate: ran out of ink after a month of light use, only printed 2-3 letters at a time to help tell apart merch. still prints but blank i don't see anywhere where i would be able to replace an ink cartridge unless i am overlooking it.
i was so excited to use my label maker! i got the app and connected to blue tooth, made sure the battery is charged. when i click print, it’s only printing the beginning of the word and saying complete. i’ve tried everything to fix it.
