i bought these gloves and they lasted a few months before the fabric split in the thumb area, so then i would get blisters and sores in that area. since i liked them so much and they worked out for a few months, i bought a second pair after the first pair broke down. the second pair broke down after just a couple months. same thing with the thumb area. so i can't recommend them. and the thing is, i only go to the gym once a week, so i can't imagine what's happening for people that go a few times a week. anyways, that's just my opinion, i was optimistic, but the durability isn't there.
i didn't like the fit or material. i'd look elsewhere for a better product. people that say it's great don't know what great is!the stitching isn't good enough for heavy use. i wouldnt wear these on a prison yard.
too bulky, too heavy, too thick. maybe it works well for serious weight lifters, not for me. i like padded gloves but i don’t like to get warm wearing them. switched back to my harbingers.
this strikes me as one of the products that has never actually been worn as intended by the people who design them.cons:1. there is a seam on the inside of each thumb. it's a very sturdy seam - it will probably survive a low-yield nuclear detonation. but it is also very large and worse, it is placed exactly at that spot between the bone of the first knuckle and whatever it is you are vigorously holding on to, like a bike handlebar. the first time i wore these biking i got a blister *from* the glove after a couple of hours.2. the glove material/seam that rubs against the web between the first and second fingers is also painfully annoying. i notice it most when i stretch my fingers to the brake lever, and then that seam digs in. i could actually see marks on the skin between my fingers corresponding to the stitching.3. a lesser problem. each glove has two loops to assist in pulling off the glove. one loop is attached to the 1st and 2nd finger, the other loop is attached to the 2nd (again) and 3rd finger. no loop is attached to the pinky. other gloves i've had made more sense and the loops were attached to 12, and 34. it still works, but with greater effort.4. the back of the hand is solid fabric. the description says these gloves are breathable, but what could be more breathable than less/no fabric where it isn't needed?pros.aside from the terrible seams the gloves fit well. the materials seem durable.i would not buy again nor recommend these gloves.
i’m a small guy: 5’5” , 150lbs. measuring my palm the size chart recommends a sm, but some reviews suggested going up a size and i’m glad i did. they are snug on my hand and tight around the webbing inbetween the middle 2 fingers. during the first workout the space between my fingers was a little sore. the gloves might stretch out over time and maybe this won’t be an issue. i probably could’ve gone up 2 sizes. the tag says these gloves would be a large in asian which makes me wonder if they are for kids. i have a 15 year old nephew that would push the limits on the xl.i was wondering if the finger loops get in the way.they are pretty thin, just a ribbon basically. so i don’t feel them when gripping the bar or handles of equipment. i’ve had other brands that have the finger pulls on top of the gloves, that seems like a better design.bottom line, they’re o.k. i should’ve gone with the gloves i usually get. thought i’d save a buck and try something different. shame on me.
cheap construction with heavy seams causing severe blistering and nerve pain in the fingers with prolonged use. also, the sizing guide is very much inaccurate.
the gloves are ok the fitment is not that great i ordered based on the sizing . i purchased large .. they fit a bit loose but are tight around the thumbs which is odd . the padding seems sufficient but i don’t see them lasting that long . after a few uses starting to notice some scuffing of the material . shipping was expensive for the item how light it was . would i recommend these gloves… i would not ….better products out there for the price .
they seem solid, but i’m just not sold on the price for what i got. looking back, i’d had gotten a size bigger than i usually get in these and i can’t say i’d buy them again as they pinch around my right thumb and left index finger.construction just feels ‘off’…even after two weeks of use in the gym, they don’t seem to break in well.they work, but are certainly not optimal.
fits well, but after a single wear, gloves produce an unpleasant odor. hence, made of cheap material. need to wash them constantly. will not repurchase. “contraband” brand didn’t have this issue.
i didn't like them personally, very stiff no longer how long i used them and would extend from my palm because they didn't have too many holes to let the air out everytime you used them. (like one or two) not to mention their sizes are... to little? too big? too close to really determine if your one size or another (at least for me) and they weren't the comfortablest. plus they were really really thick. like wearing boxing gloves. but maybe that's what their entendrd for.
these gloves are awful. i've tried 2 different sizes and the fit was terrible. the construction seems cheap and they are very scratchy feeling. i ended up just throwing both pairs away. i would not recommend you spend money on these.
i bought these after another pair of my lifting gloves began to split. i’ve had this pair for about 3 months now and the thumb portion has already began to split at the seam. the padding on the front provide nice grip support and they fit comfortably but don’t seem to last long.
i have just used them for a while driving, and i see the edges near my fingers are wrinkling. that's not good. the material feels they are not going to last long. maybe not even 6 months. i only hit the gym once a week.
i lift 4 times per week for about an hour. i'd call that light use. it took 2 or 3 months for the seams on both thumbs to break down, completely. i sewed them both back together to get a bit more life out of these low-quality gloves. and, of course, the repaired seam ripped through the cheap material. 0/5 stars, do not recommend.
had to return these because they were extremely uncomfortable, even when they were just on and i wasn't even lifting weight. too thick and the seams were very scratchy. would not recommend.
