i purchased the 20 lbs option. these are fine but the handle itself is very, very thick and that makes them a little more awkward to use. they are well made but the design definitely could stand a re-look.
i like the size, of course the weight and cute color. bot there's something rough and kinda uncomfortable with the texture. i think it would really make blisters or irritate the skin between thumb and palm. i'm looking for some soft material to attach around the grip area to cover the strange uncomfortable texture.
thanks for the 11.4lb dumbbells. it's awfully close to our 10lb dumbbells, which means we wasted money. appearance gets a star. everything else is a no go due to unreliable weight.
very ambivalent about this set. they seem tohave been made by teo different companies with different standards. 1) the colors are slighly different. 2) one is precisely molded with clear lines and angles while the other is more rounded with softer lines and angles. 3) the softer one seems to eigh just a bit more than the other. 4) the gripping part on the softer one is somewhat smaller with less room for the hand.clearly, none of these are dealbreakers but taken together leave me with questions about trusting the prouct.
please be advised that these weights are green. they dimmed the pic to make them look black and never mentions in the description that they are a green color! i want them match the rest of the sets i'm trting to build.
i have small heads and these are so big compared to my other ones i have. also, i don’t like whatever they are coated with. it makes it feel like they will slip out of my hands. don’t recommend.
