it works fine, but it is very cheap quality. i expected something more sturdy for $40. lot of plastic. also could have a wider wheel base. tips over easily.
my granddaughters feet kept getting caught in the front wheel... i think it would have been better if the front wheels were either narrower or wider. it's just wide enough for her toes/feet to get caught easily. she is 1.5 years old. maybe she was too young/small?
we got this bike for my son’s 1st birthday. it took him awhile to really get into it, but lately had been his favorite toy. he loved riding this bike and it was great for him. however, there is a single screw holding these two pieces together. it fell out causing it to come apart while he was on it and he hit his head on the handlebars as he fell. we tried to replace the screw, but it came loose again. we worry about it happening to him again if he tries to ride it, so we will avoid using now. super bummed because he loved it and was getting so comfortable riding it :( wish this design feature was different.
my son used this for a couple of months and it was great. it recently broke in half and he fell while riding it. he is 20 months and weighs well under the weight limit. it was great but the danger does not outweigh the design flaw.
the bike was easy to assemble, but if you want to return it, its a nightmare to disassemble. the rear wheels are basically stuck to the frame once you assemble it. terrible mechanical design!! based on other reviews, seems like this is a common problem!!p.s. i called sereed customer service and they are offering me full refund for my troubles, so all is good.
my son loved this bike so much. one day he was riding it normally and the back wheels fell off. we immediately took it and tried to fix it but found the actual plastic snapped. my son is 19 months old and 27 pounds. the plastic should not have snapped. i have tried contacting the company with no response. we are disappointed.
the bike handbar and seat aren’t adjustable on this model; it makes the bike quite limited as your (my) kid outgrows it fast!another pain point is that the wheels are beefy requiring the kid to have their feet far out on the side or else the back wheel will hit their heels and stop the bike movement.other than this: it feels sturdy and is easy to mount. the look is great. wheels spin easily. etc.
barely had this for less than 2 years and the handlebars grew mold. we tried to wipe it off, but because of the material on the handlebars, it would not come off. very toxic for our 2 year old twins!
the bike uses noticeably low quality parts with poor construction/joinery. most of the bike is made of cheap plastic (only the horizontal portion of the frame is metal).the wheels are pretty much just 2 thinly molded plastic shells glued together. there’s no rubber on the wheels. just cheap plastic construction. the joinery is crude leaving large gaps. little to no effort was made to round the edges where the plastic was cut. overall feels like a 15-20 dollar short term toy. 2 star rating because it does look nice from 10 ft away.
wheels are too narrow and bike easily topples (especially when turning). bought these for our 16 month old twins and they fall every time they try and ride them. design is nice, but not functional. would not recommend.
update on my review:wow! i was completely surprised by the genuine kindness given by this seller. they contacted me due to my unfavorable review and offered an apology and refund! beautiful customer service. i will now be a customer of their other products knowing they stand behind each item.we purchased two of these, one as a gift and the other for our grandson. as much as it is adorable, the design is flawed. the front handlebars are much too low for a comfortable and sturdy ride. our 14 month old grandson can get on the seat with ease however walk/riding it is impossible because the handlebar is way too low. needless to say, he hops off of it as quickly as he hops on. a major fail!
i’m so disappointed because i really loved the green bike that i ordered. unfortunately, i got a completely different bike that is pink and grey. i’m not going to go through the hassle of returning and ordering a different one because it’s so close to christmas, but i definitely wouldn’t recommend anyone else to order this bike. there also weren’t any directions, so i had to guess. fortunately there aren’t too many parts.
