reviewing after a year of using the product. i bought the 3.2 cup set of 5 containers. some of the containers cracked (see pictures) about 6 months after i started using them.i didn't realize how small they would be for my requirements. the problem is that lid presses into the container, and so takes up some space. while this is itself is not a bad design, it does become problematic every time you try to adjust the amount of food you store in the container without knowing whether or not it would fit properly. the product is advertised as microwave-safe, but over the course of using them, i didn't have much confidence in heating up food in these containers. and just as i suspected, they started cracking a few months after i started using them. i should have bought glass containers instead, even if they're a bit more expensive.not all is bad, however. these little containers are good if you want to use them just to store some food that you don't intended to heat or warm up, like fruits or snacks or anything light-weight. the lids do make a really good seal once closed.
loved these containers when i first got them just over a year ago. now the last of them is heading for the trash. the issue is that they crack down the entire side basically rendering them useless unless you don’t mind your lunch or leftovers leaking out on you.for all 3 to break the same way tells me there is a design flaw in these containers.the search is on for something better.
i repurchased another set of containers to add to ones i bought several years ago.these seem almost like counterfeit knockoffs even though the packaging seems legitimate.the first time i washed them and opened the lid, one of the lid latches broke and pieces of clear plastic went into the food.the lids feel much more flimsy than the older versions of the same product. the entire container might be slightly more thin and lightweight.i used the old containers for years without a single lid latch breaking after hundreds of uses, but this one breaks on first use.the next one didn’t break when i opened it, but it feels like it’s about to break because it’s so cheap feeling. i have to be very dainty handling the latch.
not what i expected. i thought this product was a glass container with a plastic lid . not a complete plastic container. i am disappointed as i searched for glass in the search engine here in this site. i am returning this product. i felt something was wrong when the package felt lighter than it should for glass. overpriced for this product. if i were looking for an all plastic storage container this would have gotten maybe another star.
the plastic of the containers is falling part, several of the units are exhibiting large cracks around the base where it starts to curve up, this is causing me concern in regards to the amount of microplastics that are leaching into my foods.
i just received the containers and based off of appearance, they came scratched. for something that is kind of expensive. i feel that it should be in perfect condition. they are plastic so i understand that through time they will get scuffed, but it shouldn’t be delivered that way. i feel the containers should be in better quality than plastic that can easily crack. i haven’t used them yet, but just off of appearance i feel mixed feelings about the product compared to what the reviews were saying.
i like the glass/bottom portion of these containers. but the lid is hard to close in a way that it seals. it keeps the sides unsealed almost always and therefore not straight. i had several large containers and i ended up donating them to goodwill. i think snap ware containers are much better (even though their lids break somewhat after a while as well, but they’re much more consistent).
if you’re careful about plastics for food as we are then be advised these are recycling #7 other. they cannot be recycled and are sort an unknown plastic type or use at your own risk. we returned them upon seeing this.
these bad plastic design, develops hairline leak cracks after hand washing no micro no dishwash, worthless junk too expensive to be replaced every month. the other red top type of junk and develop microwave deterioration which is what they are suppose to be used for,
i absolutely hate the design of these two compartment containers. for one thing the divider does not go all the way up to the lid, it is actually way too short to the point any tipping of the container will lead to your food mixing. so if you're thinking of packing this for lunch at work this isn't gonna work out all of your food will mix. it's also too small thanks to the weird design of the divider it wasted a good fifth of the overall size of the container. this is dead space, useless. i don't recommend this particular version of the brand. it's badly designed.
this product came to me in a see through plastic bag and parts were all over the place and not together. then taking it all out the lids had scratches all over it. didn’t look brand new.

owned for just over a year, half have broke because the sides of the container are thin/ brittle. also experiencing some plastic separation. overall, not worth the extra money. would not recommend.
i’m confused. i searched for glass food container and this came up and i did read the material and it said; crystal, glass and plastic.i received them and very disappointed as the whole thing is made of plastic. no glass whatsoever. yikes!
i purchased a set of glass storage containers made by rubbermaid here on amazon. it was a 9 piece set and we liked and i wanted a few more containers. since what i bought was glass containers i assumed this set was going to glass. nope
this came up in my search for glassware, but it is plastic. i decided to keep. it seals air tight and is pretty useful for storing fruit or some other snack.
totally disappointed. i saw glass in the description of materials. these are not glass as i had believed. i'm trying to get rid of plastic for food storage.
