this keyboard is pretty low quality which is reflected in the price. the key caps are printed cheaply, and the ink was fading when i received it. i do not recommend it.
first off the lighting is not very good with dim spots scattered all over the keyboard and keep in mind blue is the only color. aside from that the sound the keys make is very satisfying and very easy to type on.
i really liked the price, but the price you pay is sadly what you get. it is incredibly plasticky. that and the typing experience was not great to my liking.
sometimes it falls asleep and i have to unplug it and plug it back in. it feels cheap. it arrived with little packaging and there was something loose rolling around inside.it's also a bit inconvenient to type fn+shift+~ to write a tilde, but maybe that's unavoidable for a mini keyboard like this.
overall, this keyboard functions pretty well given the price and it's a solid budget option. however there are some small mistakes that i think need sharing.1. the backlight doesn't evenly shine through on some keys (as seen in the capslock and left shift keys in the images attached)2. the extra included keycaps (red ones) don't have translucent letters on them, meaning they will not light up. not a huge deal just something i noticed.3. the included tool used to take the keycaps off will not fit in the space above or below the key if the key is on the top or bottom row, making it pretty inconvenient to take those keys out. (see image 3)4. some keys look different than they do in the pictures. for example, the shift and enter keys have arrows next to them on the real keyboard but in the listed pictures, they do not. all the keys with these discrepancies include: both shift keys, enter, tab, capslock, page up, and page down.5. the kickstand feet make the keyboard very slightly wobbly. i have tested this on multiple flat surfaces and it only wobbles when the feet are up. note that it does not wobble constantly, rather only when slight pressure is applied to the top right or bottom left corners of the keyboard. (such as pressing backspace or left ctrl)6. last thing, (very petty) the font appears to be different on the real keyboard as opposed to the font in the pictures. i couldn't find either of the exact fonts used, but when comparing the images side by side the difference is clear.all that being said the only thing that might be an issue is that the keyboard is pretty loud. however if you wear headphones most of the noise is reduced. i tested this with noise cancelling headphones and with noise cancelling off, and i can say that it's not a big deal. however if there is someone in the room with you it will probably annoy them. but hey, the keyboard only costs $30 and for that price it is pretty good. although i would strongly recommend just saving up to buy a higher end one.
i bought this keyboard a few weeks ago an let me tell you it hasn’t worked since i bought it. the keyboard randomly turns off and i’m sitting here having to unplug and plug it back in over and over again. the keys randomly fall out just by touching the key. the led in this keyboard has like 1 good option. the keyboard in all is super cheaply made. one of the keys fell out and when putting it back in the key broke. i had to buy a whole new set of keys just to replace it. the cord is janky and doesn’t work 90% of the time. i do not recommend spending money on this product because you will be disappointed.
i don’t have a photo of using it but the color combination i picked (which was red and grey) didn’t really match which was my fault. but other than that it’s great! it comes with another few key binds of a different color.
the first and main problem is the keys are super sensitive. i learned to type with my fingers barely touching the keys. any tiny movement will trigger and unwanted key. the second problem is i chose a color scheme, and they sent me an unwanted color with separate color keys that i need to replace myself.
for the price i wasnt expecting much but this keyboard is made really badly, some of the plastic edges need to be sanded down. the lights is very dim even at the highest setting. also the paint in already chipping off the keys.
keyboard looks great and build quality is decent but feels cheap by times. backlights is cold white , great and have diferent variations. colors and design is great but there are some quality conmtrol flaws. i got the white-black and orange, out of the box it came with white and black key. orange keys were packed in an extra bag wich is great but the miss is that the keyboard is a 60% so there is no number pad but orange keys included in bag include numb pad plus, minis, enter. those ma be like extras but will prefered to see key that can be replace in the keyboard. other downside is that the keyboard indeed is mechanical but it lacks of a spring that provide resistance to presure and key taping so key feel loose and whimpsy. for the pricepoint sure is a decent option but typing just feels like a toy.
keys seems to have a hair trigger, i got used to that. now the usb connection is continuously disconnecting. this conveniently started happening after my return window ended. another product designed to fail right after consumer protection ends. would not buy from this manufacturer again.
the keyboard itself is fine but the usb chord to connect it to a laptop broke immediately after little use. the metal part of the adapter completely popped out and the keyboard won’t work with any other usbc chords so the product as a while is unusable.
really like the keyboard but order this color because it said it included 13 red keycaps and i only recieved a single blank one will update review once someone reaches out to me
overall it’s fine for your standard gamer but the stabilizers are 100% dry and the space bar, shift, backspace have rattle and sound shaky. but typing the switches sound fine but the key caps are something else, smudgy, and no texture. as someone who nerds out over keyboards i’m not a huge fan.
the overall build quality as in the material of the keyboard is pretty good but the finishing of the keys isn’t up to the mark, for ex- the character on a few key on this board are not well lit like the rest of the board. as one can see in the attached screenshot, in the capslock word only the l alphabet is lit properly other alphabets are kinda dim. other than that, the extra keys that you receive with this keyboard do not support backlight i.e they’re just solid plastic and light doesn’t pass through the lettering in them. also, the keyboard i ordered was grey/blue which means the extra keys should have been blue and not red! the keyboard is a little loud. i’ll return this and go for a better one!
this is the most plasticky keyboard i've ever used. the feel is terrible, the sound is terrible, there's no reason to get this over other keyboards in the same price point that are widely available on the website. the plastic of the casing flexes with very little force, making it feel extremely cheap while typing.i'm far from a keyboard snob, but the switches are the worst i've tried yet, and theyre not swappable. they feel cheap and sound springy, the whole keyboard has a loud, hollow scratchy sound. a stock windows keyboard from goodwill would at least sound better than this. the fact that the switches are soldered down limits your ability to do anything about that, and leaves you out of luck if anything goes wrong in the unit.you can fully find similar keyboards at an equal or better price that have removable switches, that alone will take you much farther than this thing ever will. do not buy. i had it for an hour and decided to return it immediately.
