i have ordered this paper dozens and dozens of times. the most recent case of paper has a new texture to it, which has caused serious printing errors on my brother printer. i won’t be buying it again.

i received this package open. it is a very loose rem of paper. i did not count but, i am certain paper was removed from the package. very disappointed :(
several of the reams within this case were cut inconsistently. it was impossible to use this paper for any project where appearance mattered. we have set aside this paper to use for internal projects where the appearance is not critical, but what a waste of staff time and energy to get same sized paper sorted so it would run through the printer without jamming. really bad quality, guys.
i have been putting up with this printer paper for a long time since i bought this bulk amount listed here, unfortunately. it's been a disappointment because it's pretty see-through, as you can see in my picture (i'm showing the back side, which should be solid white, but look how much you can see...). whenever i print multiple pages for a letter or article i can see some of the next page underneath when they're stacked and stapled. i visited my parents earlier this year and their printer paper was just a smidge thicker and not see through at all, so when i stacked and stapled something while there, i could not see through to the next page; it was so much better! i would not recommend this paper. the only reason i'm giving it a 2-star is because the paper is bright white, which i prefer. if you're looking for see-through paper for artistic reasons, this could be good, otherwise, move on.
it's cheap paper, nothing special. however, the packaging is awful, just completely ripped open on one side to be able to take paper out and the other side was also ripped open but not quite as much. do better.
egg shell, not white as described. (go to a bridal gown store to study up on shades of white). there is also 4k sheets not the 5k that come in other cases
the color or brightness of the paper is not consistent. sometimes there are lines in the paper requiring us to print a second time. i work for a business, we buy lots of paper, so returning it makes it more challenging. going forward we will spend the money on a more-known company with higher quality paper.
pay a little extra and don't get the amazon basics paper. there are lines/crinkles in the paper every few sheets and while it isn't affecting the printer, it looks pretty ugly having lines across the paper and seeing where the ink missed because of it. if you want something more presentable, even for copy paper i would suggest you choose a different brand and skip this particular basics product.
i don’t know its specific material, but even i don’t have rhinitis i am allergic to it now! using these papers, i cannot stop sneezing and smell some kind bad smell! very uncomfortable! so if you are sensitive or allergic to some materials, don’t buy it!
the paper is advertised as 20# paper, but it is so thin it is almost transparent. cannot print on both sides, jams up in the machine. it has a grey appearance, not bright white at all. basically, a total rip off. do not buy. amazon should be ashamed for selling this junk.
