the case seems great in terms of quality and i like the small accessory case that comes with it, but i don't think this case was designed specifically for the macbook pro 16. it's about ~3/4 too big in both length and width, leaving the computer to slide around a decent amount inside the case.
i got the 13.3” grape purple sleeve. it swamps my dell. the model was listed for this size. i’ve had 13” macbooks in the past, you’d lose it in there! you could probably fit a 15” laptop in it. on top of it all, i ordered a dark purple and it came as a light metallic purple. strange. i do like the little charger case though.
reasonable quality for price, but i needed to snip a string off the inside of the smaller pouch. my only complaint is the color really isn’t close to the posted photos of the products. i would have preferred a different color had i known this was what “grape purple” was going to look like. will use anyways. not worth the hassle to return.
the color in the picture is not true to tone. it’s not bright enough in my room to get a good picture of the color. however, it came damaged. whatever punctured it went all the way through to the back.also, i got the 13 inch hoping it would be snug around my macbook pro and it’s got about an inch of space all the way around. i’m returning it. :(
i would like this to be a little thicker so it will protect my laptop better. it is very simple and skinny so to fit in the backpack easily. if you are looking for cover that fit in your backpack, i would recommend this.
the fabric of the outside so weird i don’t even know how to explain it but i couldn’t stand it, i had to send it back. the inside lining was so soft tho!color is also a bit darker than shown in the photos.beware: i have a macbook air 13in’ and there was alot of extra space, i kind of wanted it to be more fitted.
the color is a much brighter red than i had hoped, but the material is about what i expected. as you can see by the photo, the 2021 m1 macbook pro 14 is too small for this 13-13.3 inch sleeve. it's not unusable, but it makes the fit quite loose and baggy. i dripped some water on it to see if it was truly water resistant, and it's not. the fabric soaks up the water instead of letting it run off. it's water resistant in the sense that any normal fabric is waterproof - any decent amount of water will completely soak it.
not only was the sleeve too big for my macbook, it showed a tremendous amount of wear and tear after the first week. every bit of dirt showed and even spot cleaning didn't improve the look. it is unprofessional and i would not recommend.
