i loved this suitcase as it’s beyond perfect for taking all i needed with me on my trip after trying to try and go home the zipper completely snapped off after only 2 uses!!!! i thought i would reach out to custumer service where they had informed me the best they could do is refund me $40 because it was scratched i do not reccomend this product to anyone of you want something that will last
i travel for business - maybe 3-4 times a year. i use this for small trips and after a handful of uses over two years, the zipper failed. contacted the manufacturer and they refused a repair / replacement as it's out of warranty time frame. this suitcase has been lightly used and should have lasted considerably longer.
i purchased this 2 piece luggage set for my son. within 5 months of purchase, with normal wear and tear, both pieces of luggage had broken zippers. the carry-on bag’s internal zipper broke completely. the large bag’s external zipper broke and can’t be fixed.i contacted coolife about their warranty, which clearly states that zipper are covered for 18 months and qualify for return, refund, or replacement. coolife will only offer me a $60 refund for both pieces even though i paid $190 for the set. the entire set needs to be replaced. $60 is not sufficient.i chose this company because of the reviews and also because of the warranty. most of the reviews about the warranty are extremely positive, with customers receiving replacements when something catastrophic happens to their luggage. i think that having zippers that are completely broken, especially external zippers, constitutes catastrophic damage. the pieces have been rendered useless and i have already replaced one of the pieces since it broke while my son was on a trip. i did not replace it with luggage from the same company.i do not recommend these products or this company. when their products do not stand up to normal wear and tear, they do not honor their warranty.
the main zipper broke with normal wear and tear. i can still use the luggage, but it can no longer lock. i filled out a ticket on their website to see if the company would fix it and never received a response. before the zipper broke i loved this luggage, it's light weight and the the laptop compartment is very nice for business travel.
i am disappointed. i loved it. i have used it a lot considering i have had it for 7 months. but the zipper broke, it is scratched (which i don’t mind) and when you open the large one all the way, it rubbed on the ground and also broke. i loved it for 7 months and i’m sad i will be throwing it away now. if it came with a year warranty i would feel better
the zipper to the main compartment broke the very first time i used this suitcase, rendering the tsa lock useless. i reached out to coolife because the listing says there is a 2 year warranty. they first offered me $30 and when i declined they offered $40 and say they will not replace nor give a full refund. i am incredibly disappointed and would not recommend this company’s products to anyone.update: after a lot of back and forth the company finally offered me a replacement or full refund. it’s absolutely ridiculous that you have to fight the company so hard for them to adhere to their warranty policy that is on their website. therefore, i chose the refund and will be buying a better quality suitcase from a different company.additional update: in an attempt to get the company to stop emailing me asking me to delete my review, i am updating this to 3 stars. while they eventually offered me a full refund, i had to fight for them to do so.
do not buy from this company.could have very well been a good product but it arrived with a retail tag affixed deeply into the stitching. removing this tag as gently as i could inevitably lead to broken stitches, compromising the bag's integrity entirely. seller refuses to replace or refund, despite 100% fault for a fatal tag placement. absolutely atrocious.
i have only used this 3 times the bottom is cracked. i contacted their customer service and was told sorry and that because they were busy they won't be responding to anymore emails. this company has awful customer service! i bought this based on the reviews. a suitcase should last more than 3 uses. i never checked this bag during my trips so i know it wasn't mishandled. buyer beware!
i contacted customer support, and they do not sell the parts. they only gave me a partial refund. now i have a useless suitcase. very sad i purchased this brand. they gave me $70 towards fixing it.
one big reason i got this luggage was because of its lock warranty. all was going well until zipper broke warranty ends up being “partial-warranty” and offered $30 and a youtube video so i can fix it. no bueno!
small size is good big bag zipper had issues on first trip and blew open on second. both times bag was packed small, well bellow 50 lbs limit. hard to get warranty and help from amazon
i like this sett enough but if something goes wrong, there are not replacement parts available. i have a zipper lock that has broken off at the nub that i am not able to get a replacement piece for. i can't even buy a whole new lock.customer service was friendly enough but were unable to help.
the second time i used this luggage the zipper broke it broke a few days after return date and i’m still trying to get a hold of the seller had to wrap it in duct tape to get my luggage home
i ordered two sets of luggage, or a total of four (4) pieces of luggage. i had a problem with the one luggage security lock. i email customer service and they sent me a video to watch. after words i still could not get the new combination to work. they simply chose not to do anything, my problem right. i decided to pay the $10.00 for a new lock instead of sending the luggage set back. they gave me the go around instead of just replacing the lock which says a lot about their customer service the luggage in general is at best minimum thickness, which means its not going to stand up over time. i wish i would have paid $25.00 more and got a samsonite set which is made up with completely different material. and from what i hear behind the scenes is samsonite know what customer service is all about, after the product is sold. i would not recommend this product to anyone
bought this for a trip, great size and very light. handle broke at the airport and wouldn’t retract all the way down. made flying very difficult. quality was poor for the handle to break right away. very disappointed and the refund process was difficult and is requiring me to purchase a huge box (given the broken handle).
zipper broke within two months and their customer service did nothing for me. i cannot stress this enough, this suitcase is cheap and will break! i recommend getting something that will last longer - i’m out 200 dollars and now i have to buy another new suitcase!
i ordered the two piece luggage set. during the first use, the carry-on suitcase zipper broke. i tried to fix it myself using pliers and it worked for a few more days, only to eventually break again. i took it to a repairman who said the zipper was broken beyond repair and i would have to replace it completely. remembering coolife’s generous 2 year “global warranty” policy which promises that they will take “full responsibility” for any “manufacturing and mechanical defects,” i contacted customer service. they offered me a measly $30 in lieu of a replacement, claiming the replacement would take “time and energy.” i declined and requested a replacement or a full refund for the carry-on piece. they followed up by offering me $40 and claimed they could not go any higher. they are flat-out refusing to provide a replacement. how is this taking “full responsibility” for a product that broke beyond repair during the first use? all in all, this is seller is extremely dishonest. avoid at all costs and spend your money elsewhere!
update: all previous comments are true. the company offered a $60 refund if i would change or update my review, which i told them was extortion. i would not update review until refund had been made. the refund was made. so i’m updating review from 1 to 3. i was able to use the luggage on a recent trip but could not open or use front section. customer service was not good. i had to write several times before they responded with an extortion attempt. then emailed me 2-3 times a day for weeks asking for an update from 1 to 5. i have updated with a truthful and honest review.original review: i cannot open both sets of tsa locks. i got the set opened for the main body, but instructions did not work for front section. now i can’t get “reset” button to budge. i bought it in june for a trip that was cancelled right after i bought it. i didnt think to try and open it then. will see if i can get the locks cut off! too late to return.
suitcase lasted 4 months. contacted the customer service regarding issues with the larger suitcase and was offered $30 instead of a replacement product per the warranty with the product. the customer service rep explained $30 is easier for them instead of replacing the product. don’t waste your money on this terrible product.
