really just very tired of dealing with returns and poor customer service these days so i just kept the kennel instead of dealing with the hassle of a return. also just didn’t know if it left the manufacturer in this condition or was damaged during transport. kennel functions great. love the door; very easy to open close with one hand and my kids don’t struggle with it. would have been a 5 star if it arrived in good condition. otherwise seems to be a great kennel and also the insert the dog sits in appears to be pretty solid. i can’t see it being chewed up, but i have a puppy, i’ll be able to test the integrity better if he’s a chewer once he’s grown.
the crate is good, very spacious for my 2 small dogs but the box looked like someone ordered it and returned it so i received the same box re taped and with some holes and the item itself has scratches and it is peeled.also it didn’t come w the divider , in the description says : double door w divider but nothing , no divider.i won’t be returning bc i don’t like to return stuff but next time make sure to check or at least change the packaging . otherwise crate it’s okay.
it is poorly designed as far as unpacking. it arrived clipped into itself near impossible to open into a crate alone. they really thought ahead and put the directions at the base of the dog crate so they’re completely useless until you figure it out for yourself. it was also bent in places before unboxing due to it being poorly handled until it reached my door. the box has holes and has been dropped from a good distance. the entire bottom is caved it.mine also received further permanent bending due to the poorly designed clip system that is near impossible to undue alone. if my brother didn’t purchase this for me i’d have returned it for another brand. i guess if i had 2-3 people to assemble it might not have taken me over an hour after getting trapped with in it upon trying to assemble.after assembled it’s fairly sturdy for puppies anyways. i’m sure if i had a larger dog, they’d have popped of the end and made the great escape. it’s not held together well other then those clips. there’s not good latching on the ends to prevent a dog from escaping, and disassembling it. if i tried to force through the side it would be easy. like easy for a small to medium dog to break free.it’s also fairly large(got the largest size).
this is a poorly made crate. the closure is plastic. if you do not open it up exactly evenly, the top and the bottom do not open at the same time to release the doors. the way it is packaged, creates the item to have metal to metal where before even use. i would not recommend this product.
this is a complaint about amazon not the product itself. this is the second crate to keep at a different house they are a good value for the money and hold up well. amazon is the issue.. first the crate was clearly damaged and it was delivered anyway, secondly when i call to report it they don’t have an actual person to talk to and don’t give you the option until the very end. to top it off i have to wait another 4 days for a new one to be delivered and take the damaged one that they delivered to one of their drop off points instead of them just picking it up.
beyond frustrated! i received one crate that arrived damaged. i had to box it back up and take it to ups store which was awful because it was so heavy and i had to struggle carrying it by myself. i get my replacement and it’s defective. i can’t get one of the panels to unlock. now i have to go through all the struggle (again)! i’m very disappointed and upset!!!
we couldn’t open one of the two crates because the assembly was off during manufacturing that would have forced me to bend the wires…i know they don’t care but amazon needs to work on their qc leaving the child labor camps they use.
received my order today and the crate was covered in rust, dirt, pollen and dead leaves. it still had the original tag on it so i guess that counts as “like new!” open box is one thing, heavily used and potentially dangerous for my dog is another.
the crate is fine and since it has been cleaned it’s working perfectly. it came covered in black grease/oil and got all of my house and myself when putting it together. extremely frustrating and hard to clean off of skin and carpet. very dissapointed something would be shipped like this but overall the crate is just fine now.
sturdier that i thought. heavier gauge wire than my last crate, but lighter in weight. nice door latch design, and the divider was a nice bonus. the shipping was bad. i purchased an amazon brand product from amazon and usps delivered it? so it went from 2 day delivery to 6 day delivery. product is great but lose stars for bad shipping choice.
i bought this crate used from amazon shipped and delivered by them. the crate is fine. problem was the delivery and assembly. i am a single divorced woman average weight and height in my middle age. the delivery person left this outside of my porch causing me to get this heavy duty box up steps to my front porch, then into house. instructions were to leave on front porch! iam no wonder woman so this was difficult for me as i also have back problems. finally get it in the house and start the assembly which should have be simply pulling everything up and clipping securely. didn't happen! whoever boxed it clipped the single door clips to back panel. took me over an hour to release the clips and all of the strength i had left to undo the clip so i could pull it up. very disappointed in amazon delivery and assembly putting it in box . i checked the box not pleased with delivery that got me no where, also tried contacting them and same unhelpful questions came up again, none relating to my issues. phone call to amazon never got me to a live person to tell them about my issues. that's the reason for 3stars the product is fine. i have ordered 50 lb bags of dog food and always left on front porch. this is the first time i have had such a problem with amazon. this was a product that really needed to be delivered and packaged correctly. after this i will be seeing my chiropractor. amazon i am in good health, but not wonder women!
i just hope it still will set up because i don't want the hassle of shipping it back.it is extremely heavy. it's big as long as it sets up i'll end up keeping it.

(do an internet search for “blivet” to see what i mean.)i’ve raised dogs for decades and i’ve never seen a wire crate arrive like this, despite owning three in the past. ridiculous. after 20 minutes i gave up. if my husband can’t figure it out tonight, i’m returning it.
this crate came to me clearly already used and with no plastic tray. other than that it was good. it was the right size and easy to assemble. so disappointed. i needed it this weekend. now i have to return it.
thus arrived bent already, and that made it difficult to set up. once set up it didn’t feel secure and i was scared it would just fall over. my big dog can bend the thin metal bars. would not recommend for bigger dogs
item arrived via ups but the box arrived damaged and the crate is bent on the separator piece of the crate- at least we don’t need that piece 🤷♀️ also the locking clamp feels cheap. but we’re going to keep it and give it a try 🤷♀️
i had high hopes for the cage but from the start i had issues. it came banged up, bars bent at the bottom and already chipping from where the metal crushed into itself. i chalked it up to poor shipping yet it doesn’t seem to be holding up well either. i bought this crate in 2 sizes and one has already been able to be pried open by my 15 lb dog. usually amazon basic products are great but this one just isn’t.
