considering the prevailing situation at the moment globally, i don't have to blame anyone for delivering the book quite late. however, i only read few pages and from what i have read so far, i can testify that the book is a good reference guide for anyone doing an off-grid solar installation without much technical knowledge.what i don't like about the book however, is the poor way it is produced as it started falling part from the first page i read. the pages are falling as i proceed to read which makes it very uncomfortable for me. i advise the author and his publisher to do the binding/gumming properly before sending it to customers. this is why i can't give them a 4 or 5 star right now
my helpful neighbor seem to be real interested in this book, so got it for him for being so helpful, but it arrived in a tattered shipping envelope, the cover and first page were torn from the spine and there were several bent pages and cover too.my neighbor was with me when i got it in the mail, he was delighted with the book, but i was ashamed that it wasn't in the condition i purchased and he deserved the best, as he has been so helpful.he has started to read it, but i am not real happy with the less than new book gift.
if you know how to do a basic internet search, you can find more and better information. if i'm lucky, i'll be able to resell this book for 10 cents and end up paying $4 to ship it to someone... and yes, i said internet search - google is a noun not a verb, and they already know more about you because of the masses that google instead of using other sources, such as the databases available through your local community college, library, or alternate search engines (although it won't be long until google owns many more of them, too... sorry if this seems like a downer, but it's beyond time to wise up folks - too many of us are like sheep that follow along just to get along...
