nice quality, but the tsa lock is broken on the 20in. i can confirm this after foolishly attempting every possible combination twice and then opening the lock with a key and being unable to reset the code. tried to order a new one and shipping kept getting delayed. very disappointing!
the two piece set i ordered has been used, the locks have been reset so i can't open the 20, but i can open the 28 because the zipper is very thoroughly broken. the cherry on top is the luggage handling sticker that's still on the 28. ironically i'm flying to portland soon but the bag went there before i even bought it.
size not in line with airline standards. the 20-inch carry-on is not allowed in the cabin because it's too thick. most airlines allow carry-on luggage measuring 22x14x9 inches, but this one is 9.5. i though this luggage was a carry-on and was very upset when it was refused at the airport on its first trip. it was placed in the hold and obviously lost during the connection then returned all scratched up... i can't send it back and will never be able to use it for travel. very disappointed.
i tested a number of similar styles and out of those this seemed the best. once we packed however i noticed it does not fit as much as other similar sized. the handle often gets stuck and is hard to push down. also the area inside where the handle is takes up a chunk of space and make it difficult to pack. if you have a full case packed it's almost impossible to actually fit a laptop in the pocket let alone anything else. it's ok for small trips but definitely not a great purchase
we have had the luggage for 18 months and have probably taken 10 trips with the large one. pros- it is spacious. cons- it is already cracked and dented, so not the best quality construction. the zipper on the carryon has broken.it arrived with random discarded ripped lining inside (not the lining of the actual suitcase) - appeared to be trash.
i needed a carry-on suitcase and in my favorite color-i was so excited. i love the capacity for a long weekends travel. however, the past two trips the pull out handle has a very hard time going back down into it's own compartment. the case itself is awesome, but sadly i didn't discover this about the handle until travelling. it is now past the window to return. feeling frustrated! this bag was never checked-in. only used as a carryon. i have never treated it in a way to justify this malfunction!
the number one thing luggage needs to do is hold your stuff. the seems on this luggage broke on the first use! didn’t overpack, even used the extender to give extra space so it wouldn’t break (because i needed the luggage to last a week long trip).but the seam on the bottom connecting the zipper to the hard shell broke after one flight. this luggage is aesthetic, but very dissatisfied it couldn’t do the one job you expect luggage to be able to do.
beautiful color, traveled all the way from nyc to morocco completely empty did not realize that the suitcase would give us this much problems paid to check in this bag only to not be able to use it, and yes we tried the 000 code and that didn't work . not to mention this should have come with a separate carry on which it deff did not u can stick ur hand in and see theres nothing inside the suitcase .we don't want this suitcase and postal service wont let us ship it without spending so much money on a box to fit this 28 inch defective case. we are beyond upset.
bought the set for my husband. the carry on bag's outer compartment zippers were not working and we could only zip it with one zipper and even then it was dicey. the large bag was banged up after one trip. poor quality especially for the price. we were in a time crunch, otherwise i would have returned the set.
purchased 8 months ago. on my 3rd trip, i used the large bag. the zipper felt like it snagged as i was getting something out, but then it closed fine. as we were leaving, the whole bag just busted open right as we were leaving the hotel for the airport, splaying all of my things at the hotel entrance. the bag was not overly full, and had about 40 lbs of shoes and cloths.during the 2nd trip, using the smaller bag, i had the zippers in the zipper locks, just to keep them out of the way, but the locks were set on 000, so a key was not necessary. tsa broke the bag open still, ripping the zipper and bending the zipper pulls. i blame tsa, but their note says if its locked, they have rights to get into your bag however necessary. i cannot figure out why tsa didn't use the key - or simply push the button. however, the bag is unusable now. i hoped to get more use out of them, but the zippers are just not made to last.
i ordered this for a trip and it arrived with the corner smashed in. i had zero confidence that it would survive a trip if it can't survive shipping. i returned it for another brand that held up beautifully on multiple flights, a train, and cobblestone streets.
i was sadly disappointment by this suitcase. the reviews portrayed a stylish and durable suitcase but 1/2 the price of the major brands - but when it arrived it looked a lower quality than i hoped... and on quick inspection i found it already had a large crack. if it can’t survive shipment then i highly doubt it would survive long at an airport - just grateful i figured that out now and was able to return it!
thing got beat up, dented, scratched, and torn up so easily on my 3 week trip to another state to visit family. laptop in the tech compartment got a dent, had to drop a pretty penny to get that fixed. i tossed it during my 1st week and got a new suitcase at the local macy’s.
i got the suitcase in with new packaging but it arrived all scuffed up and damaged. it appears this item was used and the company just sent it anyways. very disappointed because i liked the other features.
