unfortunately the litter box arrived broken. the package was perfect but this little piece that you wouldn’t think was important is broken. luckily i have a tiny cat so it works but isn’t very sturdy.it is a bit bigger than i would like, i already had an xl litter box but this is bigger than my old one.we are on day 3 of the new litter box being set up and it is amazing (except that it is broken and i did have to put it back together once). my cat likes to fling litter everywhere and there is no more litter on the floor!i would have returned this since it was broken and ordered a replacement but i needed the new litter box now as our old one broke and was no longer usable.
for the price, i expected this product to be perfectly intact upon arrival. as i write this review, i haven’t even finished assembling it because i just took the little plastic door out of the bubble wrap and it has a huge crack in it. i don’t currently have another litter box for my cat so she needs to use this one, meaning i can’t return it, but i would very much like a replacement just for the door. i’ve been looking everywhere and can’t seem to find any contact info for fophop to even ask for that though. i’m just really disappointed and have no idea what to do at this point.
i have a friend with this same litter box so i was excited to get my own. unfortunately, it arrived with a broken door so it defeats the purpose of keeping litter inside the box. the box wasn’t damaged, so it’s disappointing to see the piece must have been broken before it was packaged.
the item arrived damaged, but the box is fine, so i can only assume it was damaged prior to being boxed. i’d send it back, but i don’t want to go through the hassle.
