when i opened the package i found that the case was wrinkled on both sides. i discovered that the stitching was uneven and the tag and side pocket were sewn on crooked. instead of having a pocket running parallel to the top of the case i saw a pocket sewn at an angle. obviously the company who manufactured this case has no quality control in place. this item should never have been packaged up for shipment. what a disappointment. i arranged to return the case the next morning.
item arrived by itself in undamaged cardboard shipping box. inside the box the sleeve was inside a resealable plastic bag.my first impression was there were many deeper creases/scratches all over the entire sleeve both front and back that would certainly not come out without ironing or equivalent. it just really stood out. while i may have been able to look past that - i noticed the back pocket of was sewn on at an angle. the placement of the pocket from the left and right edge was about an inch off.do i think the bag is capable of protecting my laptop and is easy to carry? probably.do i think the bag is durable? hard to say.if i was able to view this item in person in a store, would i decide to buy it? absolutely not.there are so many favorable reviews on this item that maybe i just got a bad one. but based on the sample i received i’m not willing to give a second chance - returning and ordering an alternative.
my son is a college student who doesn't do much traveling other than to classes. he says: i made sure to treat it carefully and not be rough with it because i needed it to last me for as many years at a time. i bought this and it was delivered a week ago. now the zipper track is already broken because the design makes it so that every time you zip it up, the zipper rubs against the cloth track. now it can't even zip closed.tl:dr : don't get this case, it's cheaply made and will break even if you take good care of it.
received the product that was advertised as new. when i opened it imagine my surprise when someone else's utility bill and several pens were in one of the pockets. product seems to be good quality but if i am buying new and paying for new i expect to receive something new.
-- item is damaged, the zipper is not working, sending it back. disappointed with the quality control. how it is possible that the zipper on a sleeve is damaged? cheap.
