this was delivered dec 15 2023. it is now jan 14 2024. the overwhelming smell still remains. i hung it up in the garage to air out but still waiting so if this type of chemical/rubber/plastic smell bothers you, don't buy it, it will take a long time to go away. haven't tried it out with the laptop except to see that it fits.
i ordered a 15.6 laptop case and the cardboard box was labelled 15.6, but the actual size is much larger. it fits the next size up laptop. the packaging is incorrect.
cover is little more than a thin protection for laptop. expected way more neoprene cushioning vs. very thin layer that will provide no protection. the throw away packaging foam inside the cover i'll end up keeping inside to actually give my computer some drop protection.
