loved everything about it except that it was folded in half and shipped in an envelope. the pic is after trying to smooth the wrinkles out by flattening under books for 2 days. i returned it
had to return it due to the big nasty stain on the front, and a few more lighter ones here and there.the package wasn’t damaged it any way, so it was packed and shipped like that.hopefully a singular defect as it does fit a 14” mack book pro quite nicely.
case looks wonderful from the description, but as you can see from the photos i received a cheap knockoff that was already damaged. it looks nothing like the photos or description. please be aware that if you order this you may receive a dud.
i have a 13in 2015 macbook pro and it does not fit. i have a small case around my laptop and it won't fit inside the sleeve. when i take off the case the laptop fits with a lot of effort. there is no padding around the edges and it is hard to zip up. but it is really nice quality if you have a smaller laptop. i realize in the title it says it is 12.9 inches but that is very misleading to also include that it fits 13 in laptops. if you have a case on your laptop it will not fit in the sleeve.
this case has a strong mildew odor every time it’s unzipped, i tried airing it out by leaving it open, but the earthy, moldy smell won’t go away. there does not appear to be any visible water damage of any sort, but i would avoid if you are sensitive to mold or mildew. i’m sure it got wet at some point in its travels, but because it’s “water repellent and moisture proof”, they shipped it anyway.
reviews said it fit a dell inspiron 15 7000, big it did not. i even measured just to be sure, but when it arrived, it did not fit. i can’t fully zip it up, but i guess it still fits in without zipping it up. i’m just going to keep it so i don’t have to hassle with returning and purchasing a new one. make sure you order a size bigger than expected, it’s very small (i got the biggest there was and it was still small!).
i like the sleeve. it fits my new macbook. there was a greasy substance in the packaging though so i had to open carefully. luckily the case was wrapped in plastic and i was able to unwrap it without getting grease on the fabric.
