after finally making it work, i compared it to my iphones sound quality and it was worse than that. especially for the price point it’s ok/expected but there was distortion whenever i spoke loudly which was frustrating. i did end up returning this item to invest in a better quality microphone.
honestly this product is extremely frustrating to use. your mouth has to be right up on it for it to pick up any useable sound. not good for the price. i wouldn’t pay more than $15 for this. good to have in a pinch. returning it though.
based on the price, i thought these might be too good to be true but i took a gamble based on the reviews. in this case you get what you pay for. i tried using these for awhile before finally giving up and paying for a higher quality mic (hollyland lark 2) that works well. the audio quality on this mic was very poor, there's feedback on the audio, and the sound level (which was too loud), can't be adjusted. i recommend you avoid this product.
audio crackles and pops when i’m inside my house recording without any outside noise. not impressed, better audio quality out there. don’t waste your money.
wow, okay, so i've owned a few of the iphone lavalier microphone sets in the past, and one thing that i've come to expect is charging cases. this unit does not have one. it comes with:2x microphones with usb-c connectors for charging1x usb-c charging cable (no brick included)1x manual2x clips for the microphones1x cheap plastic and cardboard packagingthat's it. so, if you want to charge these at the same time, you'll need to get a second cable, and come up with two usb-c charging bricks.all of the other iphone wireless microphone sets have come with a drop-in case, where you charge the case battery, and the case charges the microphones when they're in the case. that's the ideal situation.the only reason why i purchased this set of wireless microphones in the first place, is because apple switched out the iphone's charging port from the lightning cable to the usb-c. so that makes all of my current wireless microphones obsolete.i was sad to see that, for $4 more, you can get a model with a full-on charging case.this company either needs to include a charging case, or they need to back-off on their pricing. not worth the price at all.having tested the microphones, they work fairly well...but...they're so small and easy to lose, it makes no sense for me to keep these, when i can get one with a charging case for a few dollars more.hopefully i can save you the time of purchasing these, being disappointed, and returning them.
are they better than what is built into the iphone? sure, if you're outside an arm's distance from the phone. they do have some crinkling noises occasionally and there doesn't appear to be anything touching or moving the unit so apparently even if you are absolutely still, you can still get some noises you don't need. thankfully it isn't all the time, but if you're looking for a long term solution, id spend more money for something better.
does an ok job. was expecting better sound with all the 5 star reviews, but for the price, i really don’t have much room to complain. wouldn’t buy it again?… probably not. i’d likely spend 20 bucks more and get a better one.pros- definitely small and compact.cons- does t live up to the hype.
i got these to do reviews online. while they do work i found the sound to be actually better with just my iphone mic. maybesta mic was tinny and a little distorted. for the price i wouldn't complain or send them back. however i doubt i will be using these anytime soon.
i have attempted numerous troubleshooting tips from their manual but nothing is working. my iphone is not using it as the primary microphone. i am a bit let down by this because i thought maybe there would be a chance this worked for a cheap price but i guess you get what you pay for.
