inconsistently sharp along the blades.cuts cheesecloth easily if cutting on the tip 1/3 of the blades. the 2/3s to the pivot (screw) just chew the fabric. i will buy better scissors elsewhere. costco has 3m scissor 3 pack for 50 cents less.
i was looking for left-handed scissors and although this was my mistake these scissors were mixed in with all the left-handed ones and so i thought this was a left-handed scissor i will be returning...and btw they are cheap cheap and cheap
looked back to see how much i paid for these. glad to see it wasn't much because they lost sharpness within a few months. not sure where all the 4 and 5 stars are coming from...
the scissors works fine in general, just two flaws that i don't really like.1st and the major one is the sharp outer edges. the edges are like really really sharp 90 angle straight from the cnc. can easily slide through skins if not careful enough.2nd is the material of the blades. they don't look like titanium fused, instead they appears to be regular stainless steel blades. you can still see the cnc marks on the blade, which indicates that the blade came out straight from the cnc machine with no further coating.again i really hate the dangerously sharp outer edges..they really should have sanded the 4 edges just like how they sanded the front and back sides of the blade. might spend some time and manually deburt it one day.the bare stainless blade is not as good a a real titanium fused blade which provides some degree of non-stick.besides the two main flaws, the rubbery inner ring of the handle will become an issue sooner or later when it turns sticky.i could be wrong that they might have made the full blade with pure titanium instead of titanium coating/fused; but this shouldn't be the case due to the price point; and it sticks to magnet.somewhat disappointed overall.
i could've got a bad set or something but i ordered these thinking they were a good deal and they have pretty good reviews. i didn't have a good experience with them. they're literally worse than dollar store scissors for me. dull. just awful. what a shame.
pretty to look at, well made but dull, dull, dull. they're probably fine for paper cutting but i wanted them to cut fabric and the occasional thread. you get what you pay for.
when i first got these they worked great! after only a few weeks of use all of them are dull, yes, i have a sharpener and have sharpened them. but i’d like to find a really great multipurpose scissor that doesn’t break the bank and stays sharp for longer than 3 weeks. i’ll keep looking until i find a pair.
yeah, they're 8 scissors, but the axle is located such that the blades are 3/4 shorter than my other 8 scissors. this way, we get less steel / cutting length and more plastic in the handles. they're ok for $ 2.74.
these are terrible scissors. they’re very sticky when cutting, not smooth at all. the ends are more blunt and not good for accurate cutting. i will have to replace these soon since they’re the worst scissors i’ve ever purchased. had i not been in covid quarantine lockdown i would have gone to brick and mortar store and found better quality scissors. they’re cheap and you get what you pay for. don’t recommend these.
thought it was a great deal for 3. don't understand the high rating. i'll go back to fiskars.have one in the kitchen, bathroom, office. they are all used for different functions. they all disappoint.
these grow dull very quickly -- scissors that i got in the gift-rap section of my drugstore are much better. might as well get wiss among inexpensive scissors.
