i have always liked this, so i bought more. based on the price and the picture, what i thought i was getting versus what i received however.... if i would have caught that 2 of them are dipping containers i wouldn't have bought bc the price does match with what you would be buying. i should have read the description. so that is my fault. i purchased the 7pc. so now i have 2(with lids) that are a waste that will never be used. but based on what i have bought of these in the past, the price was to high for what i received but the containers are good quality amd work perfect for our family.note: we never reheat anything in our tupperware unless it is glass. we use these for storing leftovers only.
not what i expected. i thought this product was a glass container with a plastic lid . not a complete plastic container. i am disappointed as i searched for glass in the search engine here in this site. i am returning this product. i felt something was wrong when the package felt lighter than it should for glass. overpriced for this product. if i were looking for an all plastic storage container this would have gotten maybe another star.
set of 22 has 44 pieces including lids.this set of 24 has 12 containers and 12 lids. i feel ripped off. so mush for a great deal on prime day. the small containers are barely large enough for condiments.
why does it say 24 piece when they’re counting the lids, when on the 22 piece set they don’t. as for a deal it’s not that great compared to other sets.
i guess i should have paid more attention to sizes, but i never imagined that most of these containers would be so small. some of them are so tiny that i can't imagine anyone needing to seal a couple of tablespoons of food inside of them. for the price, and the fact that most of these containers are way too small for my needs, it was a waste of money. i wish i had bought fewer bigger containers that are actually useful for leftovers and such.
i like the containers' design and look, but one of my lids cracked. i use these containers very lightly, take very good care with them, and have only had them for six (6) months. so, was surprised when i discovered the crack in one of the lids. i messaged the manufacture and received no response.i would not buy again. for the price i expected better customer service and a more durable product.
owned for just over a year, half have broke because the sides of the container are thin/ brittle. also experiencing some plastic separation. overall, not worth the extra money. would not recommend.
purchased in november, and loved the look. we use them weekly for meal prep, and the large ones for leftovers usually.i've now had three crack on me through normal usage. carry to/fro work, in a padded lunch box... we was in dishwasher, but they're allegedly dishwasher safe. you'd think for $100 on tupperware i wouldn't have these issuesdo not recommend, purchase glass ones instead. rubbermaid has clearly decided to cut corners and raise their prices to deliver to their shareholders instead of making quality products
my apt burned down. i’m rebuilding. this went from 28.99 to 39.99. why so greedy i loved the value in january 2024, explain the 40%price increase in 4 months.
i love how these containers seal and keep food fresh. what i’m not liking is they are supposed to be microwave safe and even vented through the lid latches. i have microwaved with the lid on and vented as well as with the lid off and both containers show distortion on the plastic sides after being microwaved. i’m super bummed since i was loving the light weight plastic containers but it’s just a reminder of why glass is better. the good news is these containers do come in glass as well. i have three in glass and love them. i was willing to pay more for these in plastic thinking they would hold up but after a couple uses i can see they are not worth the price. i’m giving three stars since they are great for keeping my fruit and other cold items fresh.
here is the lowdown on these crappy containers. i regrettably purchased these six separate times totaling about $325.00. they are nice at the start but turn to junk quickly. i bought a bunch of them thinking i had made a good purchase.i will comment based on the words used to describe them by the manufacturer, designed to be leak-proof – they were in fact designed to be leakproof – and they are for about a year of normal use.great for grilling, tailgating, holidays, meal prep, and more – the best part of this feature is that when doing one of the stated activities, you can rest assured that if someone walks off with one, it will disappoint them even if it was free to them.stackable for easy organization – they do stack, the lids don’t but the containers do, so half correct?stain and odor-resistant – this is simply not true. they stain and they can stink. all of mine are either have a white frosting on them like you get with old car headlights or are stained from various foods. don’t even think about getting curry near them. that’s an endgame,no-mess microwaving – i don’t know what this means. they have lids so things don’t splatter. yay.crystal-clear design – they arrive crystal clear, that much is true. they won’t be for long.leak-proof – they are, when they are empty or not movingmodular – i don’t think that the person who called them modular is fully aware of the term.portable – yes. they can be transported. i mean, they will be shipped to you.durability – the worst aspect of these containers. i stored away my old rubbermaid stuff and have now put it back into use because most of these are now cracked, stained and unusable.i do not understand why these reviews tell stories about how they reminisce about happily running through the grass in grandma’s back yard or some other whimsical anecdote. is that the key to getting free stuff? you write good reviews and companies send you things if you write a glowing review?
bought these in oct, reviewing now in march. the seals have finally given out (torn), so no longer airtight. can't use it for anything liquid (soup, etc). okay for dry stuff or a salad but lost its leakproof integrity. now it's just a box i use for storage. also, of the 5 in this set, two have developed crack in the body itself so (again) they aren't any good for liquid foods. i use them regularly for lunches, heating in the microwave, hand washed always. i like them but don't love them because i have to replace them. might as well just buy something cheaper since you have to replace it anyway. $40 for 5 containers is $8 each. i bought a couple of glass ones to try from t@rget at 2 dollars more than this price to see if the body will last any longer. not sure if the constant heating in the microwave destroyed the seal... probably so. but it says microwaveable. i do like the venting lid feature. at least with the glass ones i can eventually use them as mini baking pans.
these containers are the best, but with two glaring weaknesses. 1. they are expensive. 2. they don’t hold up. i could deal with the cost, but they have to be more durable.after seeing coworkers with these rubbermaid food containers, i purchased a ten piece set. it was immediate love. they stack. they are secure. your leftovers look good in them. i purchased more and now own about 40 pieces.i noticed that my coworkers’ pieces showed many small cracks in the clear plastic. i assumed that dishwasher heat wasn’t good for them, so i wash mine by hand. even with that, the micro cracks started to appear. today the side of one of the small containers split all the way through. it had not been dropped. it just failed.i bought these 10 months ago and am very disappointed that they have not lasted longer. at this price point i am looking for better durability.my advice to rubbermaid would be to consider the materials and manufacturing process. this product is so close to perfect, but the frailty is a fatal flaw. is there a way you can overcome the cracking issue?
we bought this set a little less than a year ago and they are already breaking i had to throw one away yesterday and we have several more showing almost like stress fractures in the plastic. normal use refrigerator and microwave. we loved them until we saw how quickly they started breaking. not worth the price.
i have purchased several of these, some large and some of the short ones. i have never had a tall one crack on me yet. but i had to replace several of the short ones due to cracking. i don’t know why they have cracked, and the price they cost, they should have lasted much longer. maybe there is less surface area that the deep ones and that might be the reason. or bad qc on their end. just beware.
bought 4/23 i have had to throw away couple bowls because of cracks! i spent well over $100. for what i believed to be a quality product. otherwise portion, lids and storage was 5 star.
i have never owned storage containers that start off so well and then fail so spectacularly. these containers are great for the first few months then they start to get hazy, cracks start to form and then the plastic just plain splits. unacceptable at this price. we will be going back to glass and not from rubbermaid. not worth your hard earned dollar.
