if you were to buy your first mehcanicall keyboard this is not it. maybe if you have no other options and you dont want a 10$ membrane keyboard but i've used it for a year (modded) and it's been not as terrible as i first tought it would. it is a bad keyboard but no so bad for the price
this is for the clicky switch fans, and you know who you are. don't you dare purchase this board. you will regret it. there are plenty of budget boards that are actually good. this isn't one of them. i know...you're gonna go to yootoob for validation. and they're gonna tell you if you manage your expectations, the board is fine. it isn't. that's just code for if you don't know what you are doing, you'll probably think it's good enough. again it isn't. but why, you say. i'm glad you asked!the switches are either not lubed or poorly lubed. can you lube them? yes, but most boards come with lubed switches, and while it isn't perfect, it doesn't sound like your scratching your nails on a blackboard from the 90s (iykyk). there also is no sort of dampening internal. no foam. no silicone. no nothing. so the board sounds scratchy and resonant. the stabs are garbage, so you get a very...very pingy sound when pressing the larger keys. bottom line, it just doesn't sound good, and it really isn't worth the effort. you could just buy a higher quality board and if you want to get into modding, you'll at least be a better starting point. this company's boards are all the same quality btw. i gave mine away because it simply wasn't even worth the space it would take up in the trash bin.was this too many words? maybe. but it's more than you'll type if you ignore this review and buy it anyway. pleeeeease heed this warning. i want what's best for you - because i care. and this ain't that.viable (true budget) alternates:- keymove (tmkb and dierya are subsidiary companies with identically solid quality).- lexonelec
i was in urgent need of a compact keyboard. thankfully, i got this keyboard on sale. at $24.99 with free shipping, it’s a great value. i would not recommend paying anything more than that.
the buttons don't give much feed back, at least not what you would expect from a mechanical keyboard. the key caps, bottoms out on the frame, instead of the switch bottoming out. it's an odd maybe vague sense of feed back. not great for gaming or fast typing imo.to be fair the lights are not obnoxious and for $25, you could do worse.
i was very happy at the beginning, but now i feel it as a bad quality, cheap, keyboard. rhe price is low but the quality is lower. moreover, backspace feels weird and g is not working. i don't recommend it. spend a little more of money and get a durable keyboard.
keyboard looks great and build quality is decent but feels cheap by times. backlights is cold white , great and have diferent variations. colors and design is great but there are some quality conmtrol flaws. i got the white-black and orange, out of the box it came with white and black key. orange keys were packed in an extra bag wich is great but the miss is that the keyboard is a 60% so there is no number pad but orange keys included in bag include numb pad plus, minis, enter. those ma be like extras but will prefered to see key that can be replace in the keyboard. other downside is that the keyboard indeed is mechanical but it lacks of a spring that provide resistance to presure and key taping so key feel loose and whimpsy. for the pricepoint sure is a decent option but typing just feels like a toy.
its ok its not hot swappable and for just 20 dollars more u can get a really nice keycron c3 pro (after a while a few keys on my board started to fail like the f key and the 2 key where it wouldn't register then after a bit type the letter or number like 3 times)
wasn’t expecting much for the cost. but i was not expecting to type on it half the speed as a quality one. all sorts of missed key presses. should have bought a non mechanical for $10. all i needed was a cheap keyboard for a living room mini-pc.alternate color keys are not backlit. talk about a major over site since they’re the most used keys. simply put, don’t waste your money.
so i had just gotten my pc and i built and everything was running fine so i went to my bios but i could not access it and i did plenty of research on everything so the only reason i can think of is that the input is not correct so i kinda just wasted 27 dollars.
for the price, it is a working keyboard with some pretty nice lights and a good look. having a detachable usb c cable is a very nice touch. the red switches in the keyboard are pretty bad - they feel like rubberdomes despite being actual mechanical switches. they're incredibly mushy. if all you're looking for is a cheap and decent looking keyboard, this is great. if you want a nice keyboard with decent switches, in my opinion look elsewhere.
the way the light hits the keys it makes them look gross and dirty.functionally it does great. works perfect.the keys are what you expect at this price point.it's a good budget option, and it works good enough
this is the most plasticky keyboard i've ever used. the feel is terrible, the sound is terrible, there's no reason to getthis over other keyboards in the same price pointthat are widely available on the website. the plastic of the casing flexes with very little force, making it feel extremely cheap while typing.i'm far from a keyboard snob, butthe switches are the worst i've tried yet, and theyre not swappable. they feel cheap and sound springy, the whole keyboard has a loud, hollow scratchy sound. a stock windows keyboard from goodwill would at least sound better than this. the factthatthe switches are soldered down limits your ability to do anything aboutthat, and leaves you out of luck if anything goes wrong in the unit.you can fully find similar keyboards at an equal or better price that have removable switches, that alone will take you much farther than this thing ever will. do not buy. i had it for an hour and decided to return it immediately.
i was excited to get the keyboard because i’ve been borrowing one of my buddies. the keys done even work. i was trying to walk around in a video game and was stopped every 10 seconds. abilities i was using weren’t being casted and i couldn’t kite properly. terrible keyboard it’s defiantly $20 for a reason
the keyboard itself felt solid and worked great once connected. my issue is i bought it as an aesthetic addition to my computer desk. the caps that arrived weren’t as imaged so it didn’t match what i wanted. add to that there was another full sized for a little less.
