i purchased this 2 piece luggage set for my son. within 5 months of purchase, with normal wear and tear, both pieces of luggage had broken zippers. the carry-on bag’s internal zipper broke completely. the large bag’s external zipper broke and can’t be fixed.i contacted coolife about their warranty, which clearly states that zipper are covered for 18 months and qualify for return, refund, or replacement. coolife will only offer me a $60 refund for both pieces even though i paid $190 for the set. the entire set needs to be replaced. $60 is not sufficient.i chose this company because of the reviews and also because of the warranty. most of the reviews about the warranty are extremely positive, with customers receiving replacements when something catastrophic happens to their luggage. i think that having zippers that are completely broken, especially external zippers, constitutes catastrophic damage. the pieces have been rendered useless and i have already replaced one of the pieces since it broke while my son was on a trip. i did not replace it with luggage from the same company.i do not recommend these products or this company. when their products do not stand up to normal wear and tear, they do not honor their warranty.
this product is unacceptable, i got this new luggage because of the good reviews, after using amazon brand luggage for around four years. i only made one trip and the carry on get to the house with the worst scratches and it don’t come out. don’t buy this is not worst the price
bought the set for my husband. the carry on bag's outer compartment zippers were not working and we could only zip it with one zipper and even then it was dicey. the large bag was banged up after one trip. poor quality especially for the price. we were in a time crunch, otherwise i would have returned the set.
i'm floored that this was over $100. the suitcase feels cheap and like it could easily break if not handled carefully. a few years ago, i wouldn't pay over $25 for this piece of garbage. i guess that's the price of inflation. the good? it is light weight and at the moment it maneuvers just fine... but i don't expect these wheels to last given the low build quality.
with minimal travel while owning this suitcase, it has already managed to crack. for the price, it is not worth it. now i am stuck with a cracked suitcase and unable to return it.
i ordered two sets of luggage, or a total of four (4) pieces of luggage. i had a problem with the one luggage security lock. i email customer service and they sent me a video to watch. after words i still could not get the new combination to work. they simply chose not to do anything, my problem right. i decided to pay the $10.00 for a new lock instead of sending the luggage set back. they gave me the go around instead of just replacing the lock which says a lot about their customer service the luggage in general is at best minimum thickness, which means its not going to stand up over time. i wish i would have paid $25.00 more and got a samsonite set which is made up with completely different material. and from what i hear behind the scenes is samsonite know what customer service is all about, after the product is sold. i would not recommend this product to anyone
really liked the set. i could tell it felt kinda cheap though. and at $200 a set. should have sent it back then. smaller carry on bag broke on first use. zipper snagged itself and is very cheap. now it doesn’t close so it’s a $200 piece of junk. much like there warranty.after contacting the manufacturer they offered me $25 for my inconvenience.now what company in their right mind thinks that $25 is going to make anything better. sure i spent $200 on your set and now $25 bucks is going to make it ok.amazon was even worse in this. they refuse to offer any support for this product purchase even though the company has lied about there ad.don’t buy this cheaply made overpriced product.buy something reputable. learned my lesson.further updated.the company further reached out after this review.offers me $65 or a replacement. which is all i wanted anyway. if i give a 4 or 5 star review instead.they refuse to honor anything until i first change my review. i’m taking this matter up with amazon.again, go buy a reputable brand with actual customer service that takes care of their customers.
i was so excited about this set but it broke after 1 use! i didn't even overpack but the zippers came completely undone. they were hard to pull to open and close and eventually broke altogether.update 6/10:the company has emailed me and offered $50 to take down my review!! i paid $189+ for this garbage you're paying me $50 to try to cover up for you?
super lightweight and easy to maneuver. the dimensions are correct from what the product stated. but the quality of the interior is very thin and seems like it could easily rip. the exterior, especially on the stitching looks very low quality. i heard from reading reviews on this product that the locking system breaks sometimes so i will not be using that feature. definitely overpriced for the smallest bag option ($140). i do really like the ipad and laptop pocket! good feature! i just hope it doesnt get destroyed on the flight.
i was sadly disappointment by this suitcase. the reviews portrayed a stylish and durable suitcase but 1/2 the price of the major brands - but when it arrived it looked a lower quality than i hoped... and on quick inspection i found it already had a large crack. if it can’t survive shipment then i highly doubt it would survive long at an airport - just grateful i figured that out now and was able to return it!
it’s a bit pricey for such compact luggage. i guess, i should have return it, but i didn’t. the outside compartment, is the reason, i bought it. however, you can’t put much of anything in the luggage and hence the 3 stars...
zipper on luggage broke less then a year having it and the seller will not honor the warranty. instead, they will try to bargain with you, only wants to give me 40. i would not buy from them.
i researched several luggages before purchasing. i was very excited about this luggage! however, after using it a second time—the telescopic handle won’t go down! i was very disappointed that a luggage that was $80+ was already giving me problems! it gave me so much anxiety flying back home from dallas that i made sure the handle was mostly 1/4 down so i didn’t have problems putting the luggage in the overhead bin. so in order to avoid having problems and anxiety putting the bag in the overhead bin—i basically had to push it around without the handle fully extended prior to boarding. i learned my lesson and will only buy luggage with lifetime warranty. i also suggest buying directly from a luggage company so you can 100 free days to try it instead of amazon’s 30 return window. you don’t know if you might end up with some defective luggage just shy of the “30 days return” through amazon.
the zipper broke the 2nd time i used it. only for carryon. and it broke. i would return it if i could. $120 and i should have gotten a better one. boo! don’t get this!
the design looks cool, and the wheels seem nice but i wish i knew what the inside looked like. my wife and i both followed to the direction, but it seems the locking mechanism is faulty and won’t open with combination. there is also a seem that exposes the white underneath the zipper which just makes the whole bag seem cheap. i’m sure every product manufactured just a little bit different but this is sad for $80+.
