i had rather use the cords for my ipad smartphone from amazon. much cheaper charges better. very disappointed. don’t waste your $$$. i never give bad reviews but this was worth explaining. do not purchase, save your $$
i've had the charger for two months and both the ports for the cellphone and tablet stopped working. only the usb is functional and it's slow. i've switched out cables, i've switched outlets, i've let the charger head rest. it has no damage of any kind. it just gave out. for it being so expensive and to last so little time...
i've used anker products for years without many complaints. i use a different 65w charger to charge my thinkpad p1 gen 5 (laptop) at work and i picked this up to charge at home. it will not charge my laptop at all. i tried various methods and orders of connection, and 2 different 100w thunderbolt 4 usb c cables that have worked on other chargers; nothing works. maybe it could charge a smaller device, but it is useless for the intended use. now it's just a phone charger that cost me 4 times as much as a comparable phone charger.
bought to reduce number of chargers. won’t charge apple watch unless you unplug charger first before charging. failed to charge series six several times until i figured this out. got something this expensive, shouldn’t have to do this.
i asked the girlfriend to return this since it was her impulse purchase and we have so many chargers that do the same thing and more, she used it once and it’s been sitting since. i will hand it to anchor they make some good quality devices, and they have some outside the box thinking as noted by the suction cup support, but anyone who’s ever used suction cup things they get deformed and lose their ability to stick, and you have to keep them clean and there’s no carrier bag or pouch that anchor provided to do such a thing. a little bag is 1¢ when the device costs $60 should be been included when you can get a fast charging international device for way cheaper that does way more.
this product isn’t as stellar as other anker products i had previously purchased. results from charging my apple smartwatch via usb-a port are not consistent like the two usb-c ports. you have to play around with other devices getting charged via the usb-c ports. it was even worse before contacting anker support but consistency still lags. for the price i paid, i’d look elsewhere for a wall charger with similar configuration.the 2 stars are the consistency of charging results from the usb-c ports.
i used to use this to charge all of my products until it just broke. i generally enjoy anker products; however, this one is not worth the price if it breaks within a year of purchase, especially considering they are charging a premium. i'm very disappointed, and it makes me question the entire brand.
we purchased this product because of it's touted quick charging attributes. we were very disappointed. we charged one apple phone with it and found that it actually took longer to fully charge than the lower wattage apple plug. the plug is going to be returned as it is too expensive for what it does.
i love the idea of their product and it’s great when plugged in vertically to a socket. unfortunately when plugged in horizontally it falls out of most sockets. i have lots of anker products (speaker, cables, adapters etc) and this is the first one that let me down. it’s also the most expensive one i bought.
i have been loving anker chargers for many years. unfortunately, this specific model has given me tons of trouble. i have a macbook pro m1 that just won't charge well with this specific charger. my laptop won't recognize it sometimes, it will indicate that is plugged in but that it's not charging, and then it finally works after unplugging several times. in fact, if i turn the connector (usb c) in the other direction it really won't charge. also, if i plug the charger upside down it will not charge. that's when the box just starts getting hot for no reason. i truly believe anker should recall this product and do an improvement.by the way, i have many other chargers that can charge my laptop with no issues. not worth the $90+.
i had a cheap power supply from a no name manufacturer that finally died after several years or use. i decided to pick up this anker for travel since the form factor is good and i need something very dependable when on travel. i figured the high price of the anker suggested that the quality control was high.two of the three usb ports failed after only two days of use which really screwed up my travel for that day when i woke up to a depleted phone battery and everything is on the phone these days.i would not recommend spending the higher price for this product from my experience.
i bought this may 2nd. the return window closed june 2nd. now after having the block 2 1/2 months it has started getting dangerously hot when in use. waste of good money. i am too afraid to continue using it due to over heating.
i used a brand new cable (both usb a c) into several power bricks and it charged none of them. did fine charging my chromebook from usb c. it’s not worth the premium you pay for the anker brand name. save the $20 and buy a knockoff. those charge my power bricks fine.it also seems challenged using the usb-a slot to charge my apple watch for some reason. it cuts out and restarts but always requires you remove the charging cable from the unit to get it to restart. happens with apple brand name and cheap knock off charging cables.
