i liked this case initially, but after a few months of using it, there are a few flaws. however, this thing does protect, so that's good - honestly, that's good; there are insufficient cases that look good and do not protect.it looks okay - not a fan of the branding, but it's not gaudy (spelling?)flaws -1) the bubble wrap half egg-shaped material inside the case protects your laptop and leaves a weird print on your computer. every time i take my mba out of the case, i have to wipe it down with an alcohol swab, so it doesn't have bubbles from the egg-shaped material.2) the egg-shaped material gets grabby with any debris in the pocket. it leaves egg-shaped markings all over your laptop. it will also press any debris in the bag next to your macbook, which will scratch the aluminum.... as i said, it protects, but not from itself.next time i'll get another incase. i guess there is a reason to pay $20-$30 more.
update: after a month and a half, fully unzipped and unused, it still smells terrible. i wouldn't put a $2000+ laptop in this.i have two other tomtoc cases for the 13” m1 air and they are great.this one looks similar, but it smells terrible. like a really bad rubber/chemical smell.even after airing out for a week, it still smells this way.
the best way to describe it for what we pay how can it go wrong its impossible and it's really nice and tied as it says so i don't give highest for the reason of may be other products out there for the same price did may be better material
this case is a bit tight for my new 13 m1 macbook pro and i'm kind of worried that the inside plush button pattern might cause some wear on the computer. this sleeve is expensive at $22 and i expected a little more from it, a softer interior and not such a tight fit.
i do not like the material. the feeling of touching this is not comfortable.however, it is very cheap if comparing other 16 inch macbook pro sleeve.it is difficult to find other sleeve can fit my 16 inch macbook pro.i will use this until i find another sleeve.
so, this isn't a terrible case, the design is pretty decent and the build quality seems good. however, i purchased this for use with my macbook pro 15 mid 2015 and it's just really bulky. sure it has 360 degree protection, but that's kind of just a giant fluffy (and bulky) ring of material that surrounds your entire laptop. i understand that this is a universal laptop case, but i just wouldn't say it really fits the macbook pro. sure, it fits inside of the case, but is really bulky for the size of the laptop.at least part of the advantage of a mac laptop is the thinness, and this case effectively doubles that while adding on a couple of inches in each direction. i just personally don't like holding it, it feels like a bulky pillow that i'm carrying around.now, for the positives. it's half the price of an incase, booq, or similar that is specifically designed for the macbook pro. however, that sure should be the case due to economies of scale considering that this case fits probably dozens of laptops. the protection seems good and the build quality seems fine. also, the pocket is a nice large size and fits plenty of items, so that's a definite plus.i think it comes down to one question, if bulkiness doesn't really matter that much to you and you want a cheaper laptop sleeve, this is probably a good choice. if maintaining the sleekness of your macbook pro matters, i'd avoid this particular one.
