look nice and feel good in the hand. however, the so call 3lb weights i received are not 3lbs each they are 2.5 lbs each. i weighted them on a commercial scale. so either the china mfg is ripping amazon off or amazon is ripping us off or both. mfg saving 1lb shipping weight from china, on just one set. that adds up to a lot of $$ with the number sold.
this is the fourth set of these weights i have bought (different weights of course), and this last set look used. not that much, but enough to see someone before myself used them. too bad amazon do this, totally unacceptable. they could just told me and i could have make my decision with that information. i will not returned them, they do the function just fine but not happy at all.
these feel great except that they are not exactly the weight they say they are. i got 8lb ones that were 7.8 and 8.2 - ok i guess i can deal with that at such a low weight but they should be the same. but the 12 lb pair was 11.5 each. like, accuracy matters, how can amazon consciously sell such a low quality product and claim to be “customer obsessed”? smh….
i love the weights, but the stand was missing from the package. which is disappointing because i bought this set because it came with weights and a stand.
