size not in line with airline standards. the 20-inch carry-on is not allowed in the cabin because it's too thick. most airlines allow carry-on luggage measuring 22x14x9 inches, but this one is 9.5. i though this luggage was a carry-on and was very upset when it was refused at the airport on its first trip. it was placed in the hold and obviously lost during the connection then returned all scratched up... i can't send it back and will never be able to use it for travel. very disappointed.
i purchased this because it was the right size and price and said “free returns: this item can be returned for free for any reason in new and unused condition within 30 days, no charge.”the bag is great looking but it’s a little front heavy due to the front zipper compartment and it does not have a side handle to assist with lifting into overhead bin.when i tried to process my free return, i was only given one free option - kohl’s drop off. all other options came with a $7 fee. however, nyc does not have a kohl’s. after several calls to amazon to get a free return, i was forced to pay $7 to return the suitcase despite each representative acknowledging that it is misleading on amazon‘s part.amazon claims that they will allow you one free return option based on your shipping address. i guess they thought i should have taken a $10-15 lirr ride out to a kohl’s in the burbs for my “free” drop off.
received luggage all looked good until i opened the 28” suitcase and the one if the straps to secure clothing was detached from the case, not a good start for this product and it seems unclear how to contact company to deal with this. so far disappointed in this purchase and no time to deal with a replacement
really liked the set. i could tell it felt kinda cheap though. and at $200 a set. should have sent it back then. smaller carry on bag broke on first use. zipper snagged itself and is very cheap. now it doesn’t close so it’s a $200 piece of junk. much like there warranty.after contacting the manufacturer they offered me $25 for my inconvenience.now what company in their right mind thinks that $25 is going to make anything better. sure i spent $200 on your set and now $25 bucks is going to make it ok.amazon was even worse in this. they refuse to offer any support for this product purchase even though the company has lied about there ad.don’t buy this cheaply made overpriced product.buy something reputable. learned my lesson.further updated.the company further reached out after this review.offers me $65 or a replacement. which is all i wanted anyway. if i give a 4 or 5 star review instead.they refuse to honor anything until i first change my review. i’m taking this matter up with amazon.again, go buy a reputable brand with actual customer service that takes care of their customers.
took these suitcases and used them on a flight for the first time and the large suitcase had the zipper bust open and my clothes falling out. do not waste your money on these!
i really wanted to love this set, but two trips with this set and the zippers are falling apart. the entire zipper pull for the expanding unit on the large luggage fell off leaving the suitcase in expanded mode. two of the zipper handles have fallen off, one in transit so its lost forever. also, the seams around the zippered sections have torn apart allowing the contents to spill out.
i got the suitcase in with new packaging but it arrived all scuffed up and damaged. it appears this item was used and the company just sent it anyways. very disappointed because i liked the other features.
