no matter how fast you press the lever, the oil comes out in a line not a round mist as shown in the pictures and described in the info. there is no way to “mist” a light coating from this device. it comes out in a line of thick oil. it would be a great product if not for this, but this is why we are buying it.
not sure if i just received a dud unit, but my sprayer releases differently dependent upon what fluid is inside. when i washed everything before use and filled the bottle w/ water to rinse, the spray released like a champ in a lovely mist, which is what i was going for and what the picture on the outside of the box illustrates. but once everything was dry and i put olive oil inside, the sprayer shot out a 90% single heavy stream, with very little mist involved at all. since i purchased this to lightly flavor popcorn, it’s a bust, and i feel falsely advertised. if this is indeed a viscosity issue, the engineering needs to be improved.
i’ll try to update this review with a video to demo. you know how with spray bottles you can choose between a mist and a stream? well, this is just a stream. i can’t see a way to change it. it does not coat the pan, just shoots little streams. i might as well just pour the oil straight from the bottle. it is nothing like the instagram video promoting this product. 2 stars because the glass bottle and plastic top is actually quite good quality.
