first and foremost it does look like the photos, but it’s a bit cheaper than i was expecting, but it’s plastic so that’s my fault… coming back to update. the plastic doesn’t hold up, mine is starting to leak very badly when they pee and i can’t figure out why. i think it’s due to the plastic being so flimsy, that it just leaks through where the two pieces attach. i’m also a very clean person and clean the litter box almost every day so it’s not because it’s a built up of me not cleaning it.however mine did not come with a scooper or a brush cleaner so a bit disappointed in thati also don’t know why it shows you can hang the scooper on the side bc you can’t with mine but that’s maybe bc mine didn’t come with the one they were suppose to providephotos show the gaps in the two pieces that attach and where my paint came off due to it leaking
the design of the box is not suitable for cats that spray or pee vertically. almost of a daily basis, i had to deal with wet litter and pee that escaped the litter box. it was honestly frustrating. if your cats uses the litter box normally, i would recommend. otherwise, i would not. plus the tray is very shallow. for the cost of the litter box and the inaccurate website description, it isn’t worth it.
for the price, i expected this product to be perfectly intact upon arrival. as i write this review, i haven’t even finished assembling it because i just took the little plastic door out of the bubble wrap and it has a huge crack in it. i don’t currently have another litter box for my cat so she needs to use this one, meaning i can’t return it, but i would very much like a replacement just for the door. i’ve been looking everywhere and can’t seem to find any contact info for fophop to even ask for that though. i’m just really disappointed and have no idea what to do at this point.
this did not include the bonus cleaning brush and there is no way to hang the scoop on the side of the box. the box works as described, but i am disappointed about the false advertising
i should have written this review two weeks ago and gotten a refund. i tried diligently to figure out why the litter room smelled terrible. the box is leaking. it is not leak free as the claims made on the website. don’t waste your money like i did. it might be cute but not cute enough to keep using it. complete waste of money.
