i returned this because i tried to see how the larger watt type-c port would perform on my older laptop. i’m not sure if it was because the generation of the laptops type-c was too old but i still feel this device should have stopped the charging….it didn’t.it overloaded the port on the mb and almost fried my laptop. if you try to charge 1st gen type c be careful, but if you have all brand new electronics with the latest usb c it worked fine.
got this powerbank. thinking it's on sale and hoping to use it on a road trip. shipped to me and had 00%. i was hoping that means 100% so i go to charge it because instructions tell me too. only the second 0 blinks. so i'm still thinking it's at 100% so i plug my phone in and both 00 blink. chargers my phone for only a few seconds and shuts off completely. only works it its plugged in and my phone is plugged into it. major issues here. 2 stars because it's not on fire.
poor customer support with manufacturer after several emails. then they said they can't find the the original amazon order number.not a business you want to do business with .and this was my second charger i processed from then.
i was expecting this to be the new anker based on reviews and some online magazines praising one of these chargers. i had one of anker’s 25000mah units that is still working today but have it to a family member. anyway, i got this for traveling in europe. charged it to 100% as soon as it came in. i started traveling just a couple of days later. when in rome (literally) i tried charging my iphone 13 pro plus.i was losing battery instead of charging. tried different cables, ports, doing the reset, nothing. the video i made shows something’s malfunctioning with the unit because the power is draining but the iphone usb-c to lightning cable is not plugged into anything.it may be that i just got a bad unit and i hope that’s the case, but it’s a paperweight now that i can’t return it after getting back from abroad. as for customer service, i hope they reach out through here, because going through their site is not great.
i didn’t get a chance to use this until we got hit by beryl and lost power for few days. i charged my iphone and my wife’s using this and it went more than 50%. too bad it’s past a month. will stick with anker products as usual. junk.
this charger looks nice and charges great but doesn't hold a charge. significant discharge without being used. went from 75% to 63% overnight with nothing attached to it. if you try to go the manufacturer support site link from amazon you get random advertisements and no way to contact the manufacturer. it doesn't even take you to a site related to the manufacturer in any way.edit: battery seems to have calibrated and is working as expected wiithout the constant drain. i still can't recommend this charger because the manufacturer seems to have gone out of business or shut down their lines of communication. if that doesn't bother you and it's going for cheap enough, go for it. at least you know it will be backed by amazon.
it advertises as being for laptops for its not so great. it’s also not awful. it charged my hp spectre by 30% in 1.5 hours before dying. this was the first time i used it and the iniu was fully charged wheni plugged it unit my computer.
i got this a few days ago after some pretty good reviews, but when i went to go plug it into my laptop, it charged for 20 minutes before going straight to 0 batteries.... and in that time only 20% got charged. i don't mind the bulkiness of the bank and love the phone stand feature, but the charging only seems to work well for my phone and dies out way too quickly when using it for my laptop.benefits:- phone stand feature- somewhat easy/followable directions- two different cables (usb-c to usb-c and usb-c to usb)- charging power is decent- charges phone wellcons:- battery life drains out way too quickly- usb-c - usb cable did not seem to charge my laptop but the usb-c to usb-c cable does- bulky (fine with me but could impose an issue for those who prefer more portable power banks)
this battery dies wayyy faster than it charges. i just waited an hour for it to get to 3 percent, and now it has charged a dead device for 5 minutes before dying again. maybe i got a faulty battery.
bad batteries or controller after 5 months. it intermittently turns on. will only charge devices sometimes and not charge other devices. will stop charging frequently.i went camping last weekend and the battery decided not to charge my watch but to kind of charge my phone. started with the battery around 80%. i woke up in the middle of the night and noticed neither was currently charging, but my phone had charged some and my watch none. both had acknowledged they were charging when i went to bed.plugged them back in. i wake up in the morning and my phone is fully charged and my watch not at all. it was still fully on the magnetic charger and undisturbed.this next day i went to charge my watch and it wouldn’t even turn on! i had to charge it for it to wake up (not the point of a battery!). then it said it was at something reasonable, like 70% remaining charge. i finally get it to charge my watch and i return to the battery saying 4% charge remaining .. what?? that’s not 25000mah. this has been nothing but problems from the start.now doesn’t seem like support understands my issue — shoots me a robo-checklist of basic steps i’ve obviously tried and wants a video of my intermittent and hard to reproduce problem. do i need to carefully setup my lab and send them a multi gb video of how it 50% of the time cuts out charging my phone after 15 minutes? i guess i need to study my device more and if i’m prudent maybe i will get a refund for this dud.
there's no way this is 25000mah, i charged my steam deck 1 time and this dropped from 98% to 21% and the deck has a 5000mah battery. what a disappointment.
after fully charging the battery, i plugged in my dead airpod pro, but after 40 minutes, the airpod pro's battery level only reached 39%. then i tried to charge my iphone 12 pro max via usb-a and the phone did not get any change from the battery. i may need to return it.
