i bought this brand for a long time, they have definitely changed. the connectors do not work. they are incredibly tight. they glow just fine. so you if plan on using the connectors do not buy these glow sticks.
i was very disappointed in these glow sticks. they are very skinny where the glow liquid is inside. once you break the center tube to get it to glow, there are spots that don't glow and gaps in the liquid. the instructions say to shake the tube, but the tube is sooooo skinny, the liquid doesn't move around to fill in the gaps. and you have to keep trying to break smaller and smaller sections to get one continuous band of glow light. i would prefer a bigger tube. and, as these are bracelet size, they would not fit a man's wrist with just one connector. they are just very tiny in all directions.
