this fits weakly in the vents makes a constant rattle and i am not sure about the durability i did not realize there was updated version after i bought this one.
the old version that let you just slip it on was more universal and worked for all my vents. i got this to replace an old one that lasted years. this hook version doesn't fit on my prius's vertical vents like the old simple one did
seems well engineered and a great concept. unfortunately, even at its smallest width, the adjustable clamp is too big for my older vehicle with very narrow slats. just be aware of that.
heads up guys this product is actually nice but it doesn't fit in my car. i was trying to look for a description on the product before buying it and if it would fit my specific car but i guess i missed it or it just wasn't there. i guess if you have a general car it would fit but for the jeep and my mercedes it doesn't. just a heads up. nothing wrong with the product. wish they were more specific with which cars it would fit on.
i really like the fact that it holds my phone but the other thing i don’t like is that the clip in the back is not like the one that i bought off of a different site
terrible quality plastic feels like a cheap dollar store child’s toy. design is bad- when attached to a vent the holder moves wildly and cannot be secured on its own. the holding clip is very small and will break the vent if tightened too much. if you put in on a vertical ac vent the vent moves wildly from side to side with your phone.not recommended, this is a terrible product with multiple design flaws. i’m just going to throw it away so someone else doesn’t get this lol yes it’s that bad
ordered when i was in florida. it didn't fit into the vent of my car. brought them home to ny figuring i would use it in one of my ny cars and it didn't fit in them either. now it's too late to return. check quickly!
it holds my phone securely but the release button is on the top instead of the bottom making it awkward to quickly take my phone from the holder-it doesn’t fit tightly in my air vent-kind of wobbles a bit
not sure if it’s just my car, but it was just very hard to find a spot small enough for it to clamp on to. it has stayed fairly well, but my gear shift is in the way. just kind of awkwardupdate: i am dumb! user error. this product is great.
