first off they don't last long and that's not good. they are not long enough kinda small they are more for kids. if an adult bought these it would not fit. you need a second person to put it on for you cause you can't get it on alone.
container came open, possibly during shipping as it is a poor design. not sure what 100 pieces implies. there were 67 glo sticks and 90 tiny connectors. something is wrong here. if it wasn’t for the fact that i need them now i would be returning them. definitely calling customer service.
connectors: the connectors supplied are hard to use compared to those supplied with competitor's products. you will spend a lot of time working the ends into these connectors. they do seem pretty secure when finally in place. i doubt that children would have the patience to successfully complete a bracelet.length: the nominal 8 inch tubes are slightly shorter than 8 inches, and noticeably shorter than those from a competitor.brightness: other than the green tubes, light output is somewhat low. the green tube will outshine tubes of other colors.
bought these to give out to kids on halloween. about one third didn’t work and there aren’t 100 glow sticks in the container. i think they count the connectors and make you believe there are 100 in the container! won’t buy these again!
don’t buyit was supposed to be 100 and multicolor.i received 84 colored ones and a whole bunch of blanks as you can see in the photo i have my hand around the blank onestwo of them were halfway litthe colors were supposed to be green, purple, blue, red, yellow, orange, and all i got was red, yellow orangedo not buy this
i bought these to hand out at halloween for people who did not want candy. they were actually quite popular with lots of kids. unfortunately, they don't last very long. after about an hour, you will notice that they start dimming. after 3 hours, they are probably less than half their original brightness. after 6 hours they offer only a very faint glow in a totally darkened room. they are also too small for an adult wrist unless someone helps you put it on. but, if you're wanting them for a short-term, like maybe at a concert, and if you don't have a large wrist or want to just keep them as a straight tube rather than curving it, or if you want to string multiples together to make a necklace, they're fine. the price is definitely right. obviously, they're not intended for long-term use or even really for an emergency situation. so as a halloween treat, a party favor, or something like that, they're not bad. three out of five stars.
these glow sticks are so tiny that you have to piece three of them together to make a single necklace and the connectors don’t stay on good. they constantly pop off and it’s super frustrating.
i was really disapointed that the description says necklaces and bracelets. it is very deceiving as it is 400 bracelets that can be connected to make necklaces.
i was very disappointed in these glow sticks. they are very skinny where the glow liquid is inside. once you break the center tube to get it to glow, there are spots that don't glow and gaps in the liquid. the instructions say to shake the tube, but the tube is sooooo skinny, the liquid doesn't move around to fill in the gaps. and you have to keep trying to break smaller and smaller sections to get one continuous band of glow light. i would prefer a bigger tube. and, as these are bracelet size, they would not fit a man's wrist with just one connector. they are just very tiny in all directions.
i brought them to my favorite bar and gave some away and we all noticed the glow only lasted a few hours. but they are pretty and fun.however, if i wanted to go to a rave with these, i'd be embarrassed. lol
what a waste of money. i ordered my grandma some for the fourth and the 100 package i had only came with yellow, orange, and pink. no blue or green like it shows. thought these were supposed to be a assortment of different colors. i'd recommend looking else where.
these did not stay connected very well because they were very stiff , i could not use them for the purpose i intended. i was going to use them for a glow in the dark egg hunt.. very unfortunate.
the connectors on these are small making it difficult to keep these bracelets on. if you use them as necklaces (2 sticks connected) it's a bit easier. in the past, i have bought glow sticks from other manufacturers and had no issues with the connectors.
dimensions were exactly spot on. these are wrist sized (for a petite wrist) but do need a small tube (included) to attach the two ends.the sticks are understandably brittle - classic glow stick technology, cracking the stick makes it start to glow and it has a short lifespan. attaching the ends w/ the included small tube is tricky and the ends do not easily stay together due to how unbending they are at first. they can be worked into a circle but it takes effort.coupling more than one glow stick together to make them long enough for a necklace or other longer use is equally tricky for this same reason.another serious issue is that the small tube piece required to put them together is a serious choke hazard. i mean - suit guaranteed hazard. i handed the glow sticks out at halloween and quickly decided against the tube couplings.for a strait up glow stick - they work great, colors are vivid and they last long enough, in fact i put one in the freezer and pulled it out over a few days and it was brilliant.
perhaps i did not pay close attention to what i was ordering but i'll share my experience just in case - i thought i was ordering a combo pack of necklaces and bracelets, but if you look at the actual tube packaging, it's only bracelets. also, the pictures show a variety of 5 colors (pink, orange, yellow, green, blue), however our package only came with a variety of 3 colors. again, if you look closely at the bottom of the tube packaging you'll see three tiny bracelets indicating the color variety (pink, orange, yellow). we were planning on necklaces being included due to the description title of the product so i'll try to exchange for a combo pack. otherwise, the product looks just like 100 traditional glow bracelets with connectors. :)
