the keyboard came in the box with missing keys and no grey caps for the missing keys are anywhere in the box. my space bar key was also placed upside down. this shows how improper they make these stuff.
the keyboard seems nice but it is missing a few keys that were advertised (like the arrow key and the enter key) and other keys didn’t match the size of the corresponding key (the ins button is the wrong size). other than that, i hope it holds up.
all of the keys are so loud because there’s no rubber installed in the keyboard to prevent the metals, springs and plastics from connecting during typing. it sounds like an old-school typewriter. i also received keys that don’t even fit on the keyboard.
i haven't had the keyboard long first impressions where good worked fine felt good but not meant for gaming w key went out in about a months time may try another see if it's just a bad keyboard and got unlucky..
im a heavy handed typer and can type pretty fast. bought this as a travel keyboard since i hate my laptop keyboard. i find myself hitting the backspace key the most. very bad input recognition, especially when i try to type fast. i haven't tried to game on it yet but i doubt i will have a good experience.
i've used a lot of keyboards and thought i'd try one of these micro keyboards. i enjoyed the quality of the materials used and the clicky-ness of the keyboard, but it was way too awkward to use in the end. you'll notice the right shift key and the backspace key are both reduced in size, and they're positioned differently than a standard keyboard. this made writing documents, coding, and other routine tasks a complete headache.
received the product with extra keys of orange color. however, some of the keys are for full size keyboards and not for the 50%. in short, some are too long when they should be short. in addition, i can't lock the functions keys as stated in the manual (fn + esc, 1, 2, 3).j it does work if i press fn and the corresponding key though.the backlight is ok, not very bright but usable. the keys are very loud so i wouldn't recommend using it when someone is around.
i thought i was ordering a full size keyboard for my desktop computer. i don't do gaming so guess didn't see the reference to gaming. it looks fine however. i will give it to my son.
this feels like a membrane keyboard with spring keycaps on it. other than the sound of the key bottoming out, there is no reall click. you don't get the tactile feedback you should get with a true mechanical keyboard. also, the lighting on the keys is pretty uneven. probably a combination of how the keys are made and the way the led is positioned under the key. there are no home and end keys. instead of the functions they chose to put on the arrow keys, they should've just put home and end there they way they are on laptop keyboards. i do like that an extra set of keycaps and keycap puller are included.f
i will still be using this keyboard even though it does have some minor defects. a few of the keys are way looser then others and make a creaking sound when pressed, additionally the symbols on the keys aren’t very distinguished and a little blurry. plastic feels cheap but that was expected from a $30 keyboard, the keys seem smaller then those on any other keyboard i’ve had but i’ll get used to it. the backlight feature works great and is very responsive, decent clicking sound with the red keys.overall i would give it a 3.5 if i could. does what it’s supposed to do, not good or bad just meh.
keyboard backlight is not there! it is very small and not very durable. it moves around alot due to the size of the keyboard and the fact that the number key pad is not located on the side is an issue for me.
