i ordered 3.50 and received . 50 instead. i did like the style if they had been the correct prescription. this is the first time that i've had in order to go wrong and i've been ordering from amazon for a very long time.
they aren't as strong as the ones i already had which were 125. these aren't near as clear as i hoped. i know i need 150s but these are so weak. watching tv with these a def no. they look nice on and i love the sunglasses but i can't read with these.
too large for me. glasses are wide and loose. i tend to put reading glasses on my head when not in use and these were loose just wearing. will be falling off constantly. otherwise they look good.
guess my head must be unusually narrow as all i do all day is keep pushing them back into place. not enough tension in the springs to hold them in place. thought maybe the springs were just loose on one pair. nope, tried them all and none stay in place.
figured i would like to have reading glasses around the house because i never remember where i left them. disappointed in the quality, clarity and prescriptions. all supposedly the same, but that's not the case
weak spring - glasses will not sit on head.beside that they appear of good quality and nicely packed.unfortunately i am used to put glasses on my head when non i need them and these will fall off with a minimum movement of head. therefore i had to return them. too bad becasue price was good and fast delivery time.
i wanted the sunglasses the other pairs were a bonus. i need spare glasses in almost every room of the house. i'd say these are for men not women. very generic. they slide down my nosethe frame is not large enough to look right on my face. however, i'll add some silicone nose sponge things and use them in the workshop. other reviewers were men. now i understand why.positive: they do stretch out and seem very well made. just not right on my face.
the focal magnification area was much smaller than the lens. it seems all of the magnification was in the center 1 of the lens. wearing them was disorienting and not useful. returned.
i've had 3 pair of these glasses break in the same fashion. i am not hard on the glasses, nor do i carry them in my pockets or anything. one set, while i was wearing them, popped and i felt them move. the frame around the lens snapped. all three sets broke in the same general area as this last pair. for the record, i do not have an oversized head or face, they do not fit me tightly. not sure what the deal is, but these are are not very sturdy. i've attempted to superglue the break, however the framing around the lens doesn't have enough slack to make contact. i'm guessing that the stress due to the extreme tight fit around the lenses is what is causing the frame to snap in the first place!!
ordered 1.5 diopter pack. at least two of the five were only 1.0 diopter. the label on the lens indicated 1.5, but the magnification was noticeably weak, and the label on the earpiece indicated 1.0.it took a while to notice the issue, since we boughtthe pack basically to grab reading glasses as needed and i happened to grab one of the 1.0 glasses at random from the pack. it would never have occurred to me to check something so basic.in any case, decent glasses, but receiving money there usable pairs out of five was an annoyance.
rating: ⭐⭐⭐i recently purchased the norperwis reading glasses 5 pairs quality readers, and while the quality of the glasses is quite good, i'm unfortunately experiencing an issue. the spring hinge design is convenient and the lenses themselves are clear, making reading a lot easier on the eyes. the variety of pairs in the set is also a great value for the price.however, my main concern is the fit. these glasses are too tight for my head, which makes wearing them for an extended period uncomfortable. the spring hinge eliminates some of the tightness. there is a constant feeling of pressure on my temples as i put the glasses on and as i wear them.i appreciate the effort put into creating a quality product, but comfort is a crucial aspect, especially for something like reading glasses that i would ideally be wearing for longer periods. i've tried adjusting them slightly, but the tightness persists.if you have a smaller head or are used to glasses with a tighter fit, these might work well for you. unfortunately, for someone like me who prefers a more relaxed fit, these glasses just aren't the best option. i'll be keeping them as backup, but i'll need to look for a different pair that offers both quality lenses and a comfortable fit.
these work as they should and are good quality. the frames are a little small, so for guys with bigger noggins, they are going to look small on the face.
normally would be pleased with these glasses, however with this order i thought my eyes were goingi ordered a strength of 2.50 which was on the box but after further review the sticker on the lens says 4.00so watch out.
i have been using 2.25 since last year. i have purchased tens of pairs since then and i always have several of them in my office etc. i saw the price , it was great and i ordered these glasses . but there is a big issue with them . they are not a true 2.25 and 2 out of 5 pairs have different glasses on one pair. right side is less than 2.0 and the left side is almost 2.25.i will not send these back because they are cheap. but i am writing only for the management to do a quality check when they ship these out.
