i purchased the 13” lenovo cover for my 13” lenovo laptop. seems logical, right?nope. it’s huge, my laptop flops all over.the measurements on the product page are wrong. also, the material isn’t “supportive,” like there’s zero structure to it like other ones i’ve purchased. it’s too bad since the price is great. but also sad since it’s the same brand. i could try the next size down and hope those measurements are a little off, too, lol. you get what you pay for. keep looking.
this is a nice minimalist neoprene sleeve. ideal to add a little extra protection with minimal bulk. unfortunately i selected the 11 based in the website description of internal dimensions, which are incorrect.the insert that ships with the case measures 12 x 8.25. the 8.25 is way off the advertised 9.1 and was too small for my 8.5 deep laptop.going to try the 13 sleeve.
externally, this sleeve isn't 14.8 it's 14.my laptop is exactly 14 across and cannot fit inside, because internally it isn't 14 as stated.disappointed and lenovo should update with the correct dimensions.if your laptop is smaller than 14 this is a pretty nice laptop sleeve. i would've been happy with it if it had fit.
i got a new backpack with no padding on its laptop pocket, but i wanted to start using it to carry my work laptop so i wouldn’t need to carry 2 bags. i wanted a neoprene sleeve to add a little extra cushioning. i just received this product today.my laptop is exactly 14” wide, and this says it has a 14” internal width and 14.8” external width. that implies .4” of padding around the edges. as you can see in the pics, this has an outside measurement of 14”. it can stretch to hold the laptop so i plan to use it, but that external measurement is wrong and there is almost no padding. the exterior is neoprene but it is very thin. the fleece lining will provide scratch protection and the fleece and neoprene together will be better than nothing, but not much. the padding on the front and back is about as thick as if you put your laptop inside 1 layer of a sweatshirt. the only real padding around the edges is the rolled internal seem.
one might think that in an organization like lenovo, one would find communication between departments. in the case of this sleeve however, that communication is lacking. my current year lenovo 14 floats in the sleeve like a toddler in a plastic pool. i had hoped for something more like a snug glove. it works, but it ain’t great.
the specifications given for the 14 laptop sleeve are incorrect. i received this item today and the actual dimensions are 12.5 x 0.8 x 9.25. it's too small for my 14 dell laptop. returning.
