first of all, i must say, the box this sleeve came in was very nice and heavy duty. the sleeve, itself, was okay but the magnets are not positioned correctly to contact each other to hold it closed. the box stated the sleeve was a 17.3 but my 16 laptop was slightly taller than the cover and the top would not fold down far enough to allow the magnets to contact each other to hold it shut. i measured the sleeve and it was not even close to 17.3. the box it came in is listed as 17.32 inches wide. it is a nice cover to protect your laptop from dust, but don't expect it to protect it from anything else. it is not a very thick cover. the inside is a softer material, while the outside is like a vinyl. i will add the pictures i took, after i get home from work.
i thought this nice big bag would be good for a 17 laptop as advertised. oh well. you can get the laptop into the bag (barely) and then the magnetic catches on the flap won't close.so beware. smaller items like a 15 laptop are fine. (i didn't try a portable monitor).another issue --- this is not a protector, it has no padding and the material is thin (and the outside is a bit cheesy). more like a dust cover. so you'll want to put the package into your briefcase or backpack.but then why bother? backpacks today very often come with a padded laptop compartment. or just buy a real laptop case instead.three stars but really not recommended.
the arzopa sleeve definitely scores points for style. the material looks sharp and feels nice, and the overall craftsmanship is solid. it slipped easily into my backpack without adding much bulk, which was a plus. however, when it comes to actual protection, i would not trust it.the biggest issue is the lack of padding. sure, it might deflect the occasional scratch, but i wouldn't trust it to safeguard my laptop from anything more than a gentle bump. a drop, forget about it. this is especially concerning for a 17.3 laptop, which has a larger surface area vulnerable to damage. while the thinness of the case makes it lightweight and portable, it feels like it was at the cost of sacrificed protection for aesthetics. the minimal padding offers little protection from bumps or drops and this case is not ideal for frequent travellers or clumsy users. if you're looking for something that can truly withstand the wear and tear of travel or everyday use, you might want to keep searching. for the price, i was hoping for a bit more peace of mind.overall, if you prioritize style and portability over ultimate protection, this bag might be okay. but for those who need a more secure case for their computer, i would recommend looking elsewhere.
i bought it at the same time as a portable monitor from the same brand. while the sleeve was offered as a bundle discount with the monitor, it is too large for it. the surface is slippery; i foresee dropping it. it offers little protection. it feels cheap.returned.
