i purchased this case for taking my computer to and from work. i carry it in my backpack but wanted some extra protection. the zipper started sticking within a month and shortly after the fabric started ripping along the zipper, so now the zipper is not functional. i liked the simplicity of this case, but will need to look for something higher quality.
the internal dimensions are not 14.5 by 10.2 but a flat 14 x 10. those fractions of inches may not seem like much but they make the difference between a laptop fitting perfectly and having to be crammed in and unable to close. the listed internal dimensions were larger than my laptop dimensions when closed so i thought this would be perfect. instead, my laptop barely fits and i cannot zip this shut for the life of me.
advertised as working w/ my macbook, and while technically true, my macbook fits pretty loose inside of this sleeve. i prefer something more snug. check the dimensions of the case vs. your macbook before ordering.also, the zipper on the side pocket is really tough to work, there's a lot of friction. i have to pull hard enough to close it that i feel like it's going to pull the tab off.other than that, seems to be fairly durable as well as soft on the inside for my laptop. if i could have a do-over, i'd order a smaller one and hope the zipper is local to my individual case and not them all.
have used for 3 months 2-3 times a week. just had the front pocket liner pull away from the zipper. i guess that's what you can expect from a sub $20 sleeve.
this laptop sleeve does not accommodate a ms surface pro 3, as advertised. my laptop is 8.813w x 12.125 l. the product description says the internal dimensions are 12.2x9.06, so my laptop should have fit, but it's too long and the zipper wouldn't close.
i ordered the wine red case, but it is definitely pink, so be aware that colors do not match. the zipper also makes a bad catching noise every time i unzip it so i don't expect this will last very long. the inside is soft and well padded, so for as long as the zipper lasts, hopefully it does its job of protecting my laptop.
this product is good to use for laptops the only problem is that it’s super stiff so you might have to break it in before using. the zippers are stiff too and they’re not super easy to pull side to side. other than that it’s alright.
update:well, after using for a couple of years in the home only, the front pocket is unsewing. also as it shreds, makes using the zipper for pocket virtually impossible. outside and main pouch are ok, but pocket is not holding up at all.original review:i’ve had three cases for my macbook air. all have cracked after usage (and i am not tough on them). trying this sleeve bag for more protection. zippers are a little stiff, but working better now. hope it lasts more than 6 months… longer than the cases have lasted. updated on 2/19: still going well… again, zippers are still stiff, but ok.
nothing is as described. there is only one inner pocket with a completely different lining color and material. the logo was glued on, but wasn’t even attached to the bag when i got it. i found it unmatched at the bottom of the bag. the zipper doesn’t have a proper handle. it isn’t even black, it’s brown.altogether, the product is nothing as described. it only is the same brand. it arrived late and i didn’t even get the correct product. will attempt to return.
i haven’t even had this product for 5 minutes and the compartment zipper was sticking so badly the zips don’t align and is broken already. so disappointed.
i tried the 13 and 13.3 sleeves. if you have a macbook pro the 13 is *too tight* the laptop will really press against the zip (see my photo).the 13.3 is a decent fit but there is so little edge protection that i didn't feel i gained much by putting it into this sleeve.clean look of the sleeve is solid though the ripstop material seems good.the zips, being all metal, are quite jangly. i would prefer if they had plastic or cord pulls.
