there are a few issues with this litter box. the lid opening is small, even the large one, so i had to remove the lid so that my cat's head doesn't bumping into it. when you remove the top, the sides bend and become unstable. also, the drawer is not deep enough and pee spills out which then needs constant cleaning of the mat and floor. pee and litter also get into the gap between the drawer and the box. i had to throw out the $50 litter box after only a couple of weeks.
the pull out tray is the only thing tolerable about this, but the sides are so low that my male cat would pee outside of it or all over the walls and it leaked everywhere.
i was looking for a new box and saw the one i was replacing so i thought i would drop a review. this litter box leaks and stinks. whatever it's made of isn't anti microbial. waste of money especially if your cats a digger and that's why you need the high sides. lasted only about 6months before it started to reek as if the leaking wasn't a big enough flaw.
