this cable is really thick so i have no doubt it would be incredibly durable. it charges well for its length. but the usb-c is at a weird 90⁰ angle so if your intents are to charge ypur phone and you have a case you may as well find something else. the angle is not case friendly at all.
midway through my game my oculus quest 2 disconnected from my pc even though the cable was still connected. i checked the cable to see if it had broken or caught on anything and from what i could see it was still perfectly intact and it was still charging my headset. i looked at the quest application and it said that it couldn’t locate my headset. i went through every bug fix i could find thinking it was the oculus software but nothing worked. i ended up switching back to my old cable and what do ya know it works perfectly. all in all for something that i paid 30$ for it’s definitely not worth it if i’m going to have to get a new one in 4 months. perks the length of the cable was amazing and let me walk around my room comfortably it was also matched my gaming setup and didn’t look out of place. it was also not too heavy and didn’t weigh my head down when connected to my pc. still would not recommend.
well, i liked this cable, but then for soem reason it just stopped charging via the power port. every time i had my quest plugged into the cable to the pc with the power cable connected, my quest would lose battery and say it was charging at a slow rate.i ran an experiment and confrimed my plug and outlet worked seperately, and charged it up very fast by themselves, but when i plugged eyerythinbg back into this cable, it drained quickly.i don't know if i got a faulty unit or what, but it's pretty much useless to me at this point.
this cable doesn’t work, it keeps disconnecting after 5ish minutes and has an error pop up, saying there’s dust or liquid in the charging port. i just took it out of the box.
