excellent laptop case- good materials, thick enough to protect the laptop and light enough to easily stuff in a bookbag or carry on. i might be extra sensitive but i couldnt get over the strong chemical smell. even tried washing the case but smell did not dissipate. might be ok for people who are less sensitive.
it is exactly what i needed, nicely padded and very well made. there is a terrible odor, i have had it unwrapped and unzipped now for a full 24 hours and it still smells.
not sure if i just got one from a bad batch - the off-gassing is awful. it's been sitting in front of a fan blowing non-stop for 24 hrs now and the smell is still oppressively strong. if it doesn't dissipate, i won't be able to use it because it's smell will permeate throughout other travel clothes and items it'll be packed with.
seemed very nice but had a very strong smell like tires or something. it was a little too intense for me but maybe it would go away after a while im not sure
these models stick out of the case. besides, the case had a funky smell when it arrived. seems like they know it and make you keep it outside for a couple days. i hardly believe this makes any difference. dissatisfied and disappointed.
this product has a very strong chemical odor out of the packaging. it has been 48 hours and it is fading just a little. i will wait and see. the manufacturer acknowledges the problem, but maintains it will fade.
stinky. i left it out on the clothes line to air out. got rained on a little. the vibrant green color became dirty looking; i presume because the color of the foam inside bled thru. it’s been a couple months. it’s on my porch, it smells less but no one wants to use it for school due to the continuing odor.
it fits. it's a bit oversized for what it is supposed to be so it's not snug, but it works. it's a sleeve. the problem is the smell. smells like hot rubber and cat piss. i sprayed it down with room spray, but man it reeks. would be better if it was a more snug fit and didn't reek.
like the color and design but it smells like petroleum. waiting for the smell to go away. the company even enclosed a sheet on the smell of it but that doesn’t help the smell. 🥴
it stinks. plain and simple. smells like some strong plastic or industrial product. it makes everything smell. you can smell it 10 feet away in the same room. the thing is super flexible and there’s no protection but possibly light scratch and abrasion protection. my laptop is an asus strix and it’s 17” and a thicker laptop than others. this thing is still huge on it. but it’s the third one i’ve tried after others claiming to fit the laptop don’t fit. i’ve just dealt with this one. i have no faith in it long term. it would be safer in just a backpack alone. would not recommend. mainly due to the god awful smell it still has 3 weeks later
the toxic smell is still there after 6 days of being ventilated outdoors. this is concerning after 6 days as the smell was as strong as day 1. no thanks!
