i have used these gloves for couple of weeks and so far they are holding up structurally. no tears or rips.bad: first problem on the set i have is the thick joint on the thumb on front where it sits between thumb skin and with whatever i am gripping. this makes for very uncomfortable at first and then painful within few minutes. i had to stop using it. second issue is slowly unraveling stitching.this may be a bad pair of gloves but they should have caught this.
the thumb holes were different sizes making the left thumb too small. also the stitching on the left glove came out so i was left at the gym with a loose fitting wrist. threw them out then and there. poor quality, mediocre fit.
i use them to lift weights. first pair had stitching issues, requested replacement. received replacement and have used them for 2 days. so far the stitching seems to be better. the padding in the palm area is thin and the grip material in palm area is inferior to good old leather. i will use them a few more days and see. the odds are that i will be returning these too.update#1 i have used the gloves for over 10 days and here are my suggestions. the length of the fingers are fine, the pulls to take the gloves off easier works well. the backs of the gloves are fine. i wished the palm area below the thumb had more padding. the gummy/grip material on the palm area doesn't work as well as leather in the same area. do they have the same glove without the gummy/grip material? do they have the same glove with leather in that area?update#2 the second pair of gloves ending up working great. they lasted about a year. the stitching on the thumb and index finger unraveled and the areas split open on both gloves. i went to amazon and they had a returned, brand new pair for a discount. i purchased those and they work great. i just purchased 2 more pair for future use because they work perfect for me!!! in the beginning i was not sure that these gloves would replace the good old leather but they are a superior product!!!
the gloves initially have a very tight fit at base of fingers [pinching], but after about a week they loosen up! the loops that allow you to take them off, are an excellent feature. about a week ago i noticed that the stitching on my right glove has started to come undone. and i have developed this callous on my left hand. in the past i have spent between $10 to $40 dollars on workout gloves; that just do not last! those harbingers gloves are complete garbage that stink and quickly fall apart. 2 months if you are lucky! i wanted something different and of course cheaper, and these are disappointing. maybe a thicker pad underneath would help with callous! and better stitching! i would recommend that you keep looking else where.
