the design concept makes sense and works for the most part. it runs into trouble with a few things however.1) the slide drawer easily gets jammed up remove and re-inserting causing additional spill2) the drawer is possibly an inch or two too short, litter inevitably gets flicked onto the side ridges which then get wet and the only way to clean it is disassembly.3 ) the front door only swings one way so it confuses the cats, they stop using itit does helping with tracking but all the other faults means, for us, it's easier to use an open or fully enclosed litterbox
everything is great except there are gaps between the tray and the covering, for litter to get in and fall out onto the floor. i had to tape some paper on top of the edges on top of the tray to seal the gap
i will say this litter box is super cute but in all areas it is impractical. all of the cracks and crevices are the perfect places for wet litter to get into and due to the shallow pan there’s not much room for error. every time we’ve cleaned it, we have to deconstruct it instead of just sliding out the pan like it suggests. because if you don’t deconstruct it you will miss litter that gets stuck. we were hoping this would be the perfect option for our cat but it only made her more stressed out and she had a really hard time pushing in the door so we inevitably took it off. overall please don’t buy this box… it’s not worth it
i love the size and idea of this litter box…but the tray that holds the litter is so shallow that urine, litter leaks out of the box and it’s supposed to be leak free. litter and feces get stuck to the litter box top. this not what i expected when paying nearly $70!!!!
easily the worst litter box i’ve ever owned, and i’ve had cats for over a decade. for one, it’s not easy to slide the tray out and broke on one of the first few uses. secondly, my cat manages to get pee all over floor each time. it leaks through where the top and bottom connect making clean up twice as difficult.
the tray is shallow, so unless you just have one cat and use a little bit of litter, you can’t open the drawer without making a mess to try to scoop litter. to clean through the hole in the top is almost impossible. and it’s hard to remove the top if you want to do that to try to clean. as it snaps together quite thoroughly.it is a beautiful box and comes as advertised. it’s just not very practical.
it’s not a functional litter box. the slide out tray is no where deep enough for a cat to do it’s business. urine leaks out all over the bottom and onto the floor. you will be cleaning up urine every time your cat uses it.
there are a few issues with this litter box. the lid opening is small, even the large one, so i had to remove the lid so that my cat's head doesn't bumping into it. when you remove the top, the sides bend and become unstable. also, the drawer is not deep enough and pee spills out which then needs constant cleaning of the mat and floor. pee and litter also get into the gap between the drawer and the box. i had to throw out the $50 litter box after only a couple of weeks.
the design of the box is not suitable for cats that spray or pee vertically. almost of a daily basis, i had to deal with wet litter and pee that escaped the litter box. it was honestly frustrating. if your cats uses the litter box normally, i would recommend. otherwise, i would not. plus the tray is very shallow. for the cost of the litter box and the inaccurate website description, it isn’t worth it.
it was really easy to put together the only trouble i had was getting the door on but my cats don’t even go through the door. i wish it was a little bigger. the pan where the little goes is not as deep as i thought it would be and the top is designed to help the litter from getting on the floor but sometimes i still find litter on the floor. it also doesn’t trap the smell after my cats use the bathroom since the top has little hole in the top. it is nice that it came with a scooper and a little cleaning tool.
overall i like this litter box way more than traditional ones. i also like that my cat can enter through the door or roof, but can’t come out through the door. it’s one way. this makes it a little less messy when she tracks litter out of the box. one thing i really do not like, however, is the litter gets through the cracks of the drawer all around the perimeter of the litter box, and i have to constantly clean underneath the box. it’s really annoying. i might have to modify it myself and put something to block the cracks so i don’t have to keep sweeping under it all the time. this is also a reason why i don’t use the drawer anymore because stuff falls out when you pull it out. unless your cat is completely neat and never kicks the litter around with their paws, this will be a really annoying clean up for you.
the litter pan is pretty shallow, and i use it with litter pan liners. that makes it difficult for me to slide out the bottom tray to clean, so i just go in from the opening at the top. it’s perfectly fine, but i probably won’t buy it again. two of my cats love it though and that is what matters most.
you get what you pay for. the door is confusing for the cats as they can get into the box but can’t get out. the tray is not very deep so litter gets everywhere when i clean it. assembly of the box should have been easy but the walls don’t align evenly with the bottom portion.
do not buy this litter box. it is designed by someone who does not have cats. here are some of the problems: *there is a rim around the entire box where urine is captured and starts to smell. *when you open the drawer, the urine drips down. *because it's foldable, there are crevices everywhere for litter and urine to get trapped and drip under the box. *the drawer is very shallow and you can't keep much litter in it. *the cat door is useless and a one way door. this is a horrible product.
the box leaks when my cats pee. the pull out drawer is shallow. can’t put much kitty litter in there. my cats like to push their litter to the side so when you open the drawer it falls out. there’s no bottom to the litter box other than the drawer so you get litter on the floor. very messy clean up.make a deeper drawer, or maybe get rid of the drawer and be able to lift the lid instead to clean, and stop leakage. then it’ll be worth the purchase.recommend for small cats.
update: do not buy this unless you enjoy the smell of cat pee. it’s poorly constructed and leaks cat pee everywhere. i use litter liners and somehow pee is able to leak through every crack and crevice. i took it apart completely to try and clean it as the smell was overwhelming, and pee kept leaking out from random spots. my cat is and always has been great about using his box and doesn’t pee on the sides. because of the way this litter box is made, the pee leaks through the cracks. you can get a better litter box for literally half the price. do not buy this thing.the drawer piece was cracked and broken in the front when i received it. it’s a cute litter box but not very sturdy and overpriced. the size of it is fairly small to be called a large. my cat barely fits in it, but if you have a small space and small cat, it’ll be fine.
this litter box is extremely cute, but for what it's supposed to do, it doesn't do a very good job. i read some reviews that said the litter and pee leaks through, so i put down some puppy pads and it solved the problem (although it shouldn't be a problem in the first place). the grate at the top does work to keep some litter in, but a lot of litter still gets out. i also didn't really need the foldable aspect of the litterbox, but i haven't had problems with litter going outside of the litterbox through the foldable cracks. overall, this is my favorite litterbox so far because of the pan that slides out, and the ease of cleaning the pan as well as the sides (just brush off the litterbox and use puppy pads).pros:- very cute and aesthetic- the pan is easy to clean because it slides right out- it's really roomy, and my cat can fit (he's pretty big)- my 3 month old kitten was able to use it as wellcons:- the litter still gets everywhere- the pan is shallow, so the litter can't be too deep
there was a gap between the pan outside of the litter box that pee was getting through. i would’ve loved it other then that but obviously that defeats the whole purpose .
