love\hate. sensitive dry eyes, prone to styes, easily irritated insomnia. sleep comes quick. redness be gone. love the aroma, weight soft fabric. however, lavender herbs are so small they sprinkle out into my lashes, brows, etc. so soothing and then so irritating. it's a walking oxymoron of a product.
not as good as company's previous model. on the plus side, the outside material, velvet, is nicer (though difference is nonessential), and the straps are wider, which is definitely more comfortable. shape is slightly altered, whcih is inconsequential for me. but the eye indents are shallower, so i now can feel my eyelashes rub up against the inside of the mask, a deal killer, and the nose pad is flatter and therefor less effective. won't return (for reasons too detailed for here and irrelevant) but will give away or toss.
i have a fairly small to average circumference head and strap is way too tight (it is elastic but child size). when it is strapped to my head it smushes my eyeballs (because the elastic band is too small. smells nice though.
don't like the way the mask feels on my eyes, it makes my eyes feel strange when i take the mask off. i don't know if it's the weight of the mask, or the ingredients inside the mask.
these work great if you lay perfectly flat on your back. since they are molded, if you happen to sleep on your side, they gap and let the light in. they actually squish my eyelashes more than the cheap mask i got for free on jetblue.
