imagine a solar panel product that breaks in direct sunlight. i can’t tell for sure because the space under the solar panel is so small but i think the battery is actually swollen, which is the reason for the bulge. either way it can’t be safe. the product only gets two stars because i got about a year of use out of it before this happened.
charge all day in full sun for ~45 minutes of phone charging. bright idea to set up in windshield and collect sun all day at work... device panel popped out and externally hot to touch making me believe it overheated (in the sun) and would catch fire. not worth money, time, or effort.
i returned the first one because it appeared that the battery battery leaked inside the shipping package so i'm a little afraid of the replacement, it was going to be christmas gift to my grandson, not sure
