was looking forward to this new case and hoping it be good considering all the positive reviews, but it didn’t turn out right. the case is thin and really too big for the 15in macbook pro even though it stated it was a fit. the case was about 1.5 inches too big and this would be a risk, as the laptop would slide back and forth, possibly scratching against the zipper. this is probably priced correctly, and i just need to go to a higher price point. will be returning this sleeve.
i own a beautiful macbook pro and bought this sleeve to protect it. recently i discovered a nick in the edge of the cover. i always keep it in the sleeve when transporting and only take it out to use on a desk or table top. after discovering the first nick i assumed i must have bumped something but couldn’t think of how or when. a week later i discovered a second nick, again no apparent cause. now suspicious i examined the sleeve and realize the metal zippers come in contact with my macbook when it’s in my backpack. i should have spent a little more to buy a better quality sleeve. now i have a damaged macbook that will cost me $ on trade in.
